Entering into the store feels like traveling back in time. The carefully placed stacks are full of treasures to be discovered. Knowing it's a family owned small business, I've been in a few times and always greeted with a smile and treated fairly. They have a generous return policy and willingness to negotiate. I recommend them as long as you understand it's a small business, not a corporation with the lowest prices. Happy searching!

I am not a reseller nor a avid collector looking to complete sets of gaming systems. I am looking for all those games that my wife and I had as kids. Today I decided to try out this store. I was greeted by the owner who was fully engaged in helping me find those 40+ year old games. This store had a great selection of not boxed, boxed and even games that were new factory sealed. The prices were very competitive to other retro type stores. Yes I did walk out with a couple of games with a smile of a 10 year old. I was not disappointed.

I'd have to say I went to the store when it originally opened in Lawrenceville New Jersey and it was a little lack luster. But I went there recently and they have plenty of games from every system you could think of and the prices to me were pretty competitive with places like eBay and the flea market. I would say if you're looking for some old games that you're having trouble finding online, this is definitely a place to find stuff. You can even ask the owner if he has a specific game and they're pretty knowledgeable and what they have in stock.

I went there today with my old game station and not only did he hook it up and figured out why it didn’t work . I was able to buy the cables and controllers. The games were reasonably priced and a fantastic collection. Well worth the 1.2 hour drive to get there. Very friendly knowledgeable and I’ll be back for more games. 5 STAR!!!

Recently bought some titles with the buy 3 get 1 free promotion. Saved a lot of money and got some cool pickups! I hope the store continues to do promotions and which will make me a long-time customer.

Great Store! The employees are very nice and helped me set up my X box! Lots of retro and old school games. Ten out of ten!

While the exterior of the shop may be unassuming, inside you will find vintage consoles, controllers, and games packed floor to ceiling. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first and I certainly did not know where to start looking. I was in the market for old Nintendo titles/handhelds but after asking for assistance I found everything that I was looking for. I found the prices are competitive with online resellers and purchases come with a guarantee that the products are in working condition. Additionally, the store offers servicing of old GBC cartridges for certain issues, which I plan to take advantage of in the future.

I think all the bad reviews are from kids who can’t afford games and want them next to free. This is a great store and you will get games for average prices. The man who helped us was amazing! He stayed open a bit longer for us.

First time customers of the store. Owner was very nice and informative. Got very good deals on the games we got and even sold some games there. Many consoles, accessories, and games to choose from! He was very generous to us and even helped my husband look for certain titles.

I honestly love this place. It's a hidden gem! I was just there last weekend. Yes, there is a lot of stuff but it's still organized. Games may seem pricey but you have to understand that these copies are in VERY GOOD condition. I didn't see a single game complete in box in poor condition. They also have so many old video game consoles still in boxes! I bought Final Fantasy Anthology for PSX and I had been searching for that for AGES. Other copies in other stores were not in the condition I wanted, but these guys had a great one. It was worth the price.

This store has very friendly management and employees, were always happy to help me find what I need and chat. I have called a few times asking for specific items and was always told whether they had it, if they could order a part to make it happen or suggest other ways to get it. Have been coming now for the past few months ever since starting my new job in Princeton and is it a great stop after work to get a cool old game or controller. If you are a fan of mom and pop stores instead of the sterile Gamestop environment then give this local store a chance!

I read as many (bad) reviews as I could and still visited. I eventually bought a gameboy original and an N64. They both work and are playable. This place is a walk down memory lane! They have every game and system. The store owner is very nice and willing to work with you. The new employee without game experience was honest upfront and as helpful as she could be. It's close and convenient. I will definitely like to return.

When I went to the store with my dad I had a great time there when talking to the people working they were helpful in anyway possible. I’m glad that I got the games I wanted so if you would like some games that are hard to find then go to this store for old and new

So Ive been collecting video games for decades now and seeing the low reviews on here break my heart so i would like to drop some truth bombs. Number 1, if you collect youve been to flea markets and garage sales, youve dug through a ton of stuff to find the gems. People who are complaining about disorganization either are new to the hobby or arent paying attention. You guys keep all sports games way above eye level, or blocked by shelves and that is literally perfect. You even go above and beyond by keeping the store in store in sections of nes, sega, ect. It might look like chaos, but its actually very intuitive. Its no gamestop, but they probably have 7 game stops worth of games in 1 gamespot of space. I have gone here for years, not often, but when i do i spend a good chunk, 1-300ish is my average. The guy that works their, Ferris, is a legend. I normally look at stuff older than him and understandably he might not be familiar with the more obscure stuff, but he has no problem searching for an hour to help me out. Last time i was in he helped me for a while trying to find turbografx games as well as contra hard corps which wound up being tucked away high on a shelf. I was throwing a fighting game tournament at the time and although he didnt have street fighter 2 turbo, was willing to come up with solutions like call me when one came in and offer other vwesions of the game. JUST TODAY he helped me by searching over an hour for a av cable to a gen 1 sega genesis and sega cd combo but came up empty handed unfortunately. They had rf but my tv doesnt take that anymore (i broke the coax while moving) so i got other stuff like a ps vita instead. If we switched places i would have lost my patience but Ferris is a customer service legend who you can tell is passionate about games. Btw when it comes to returns, the vita i got didnt work so i called and told him, and he said just come in to swap out. I said the vita didnt charge and when i walked in this guy has the other vita charging for me ready to go just to make sure it works. Are you kidding? Folks this is a local business run by a family. How can you not support this? Also a side note, Ferris had a mask on the whole time. One of the reviews said they walked out when they saw him without one. Come on guy. He works alone. Im sure he would have put it on if he saw you. Corona is a serious problem, but lets not forget we are a community also. Lets work together through this craziness. Sorry for the long post, but you guys are great, have been nothing but great to me, and i wish you all the success in the world!

I went the other day and it was like walking into a museum of games. I could have spent all day there! The variety of games, accessories, systems, cables. You name it, he's got it. Even if you don't see it, he'll know exactly where it is. The owner is super nice and let's you browse until you get tired. I am looking forward to going back to check out more games. I mostly get games to send to nephews overseas and they are already excited for what I'm sending. The prices may seem high, but honestly what you probably paid to have them when they first came out was double if not more so to me he is being fair especially for a small business. See you soon and thank you for taking me down memory lane. It was so much fun!

So I went to buy some games a while ago and, well yeah they were at a high price, some of the games, but they were all working and I've enjoyed them all. One of my favorite games currently is Burnout: Legends, which I got from here for a high price, but I've had a lot of fun with the game and I'd say it was worth it. The guy at the register was super nice and I would shop here again another time.

I almost didn't go to the store because of the numerous bad reviews, but my buddy encouraged me to give it a shot, and it was 100% worth it. I was hoping to buy a PlayStation 2 as I wanted to relive the glory days of my childhood. Personally, I had a super positive experience.
A couple details (TL;DR at bottom):
1. Some people complained about the smell. I personally didn't notice anything. The store's organization isn't pristine (think of it like a well-organized used book store), but the place wasn't dirty and didn't have any off-putting smells.
2. People also mentioned how expensive the prices were. I found this to be true in some cases and false in others: it just depended on what you were looking for. I knowingly overpaid for a PS2 ($80.00 compared to ~$50.00 on Amazon), and controllers are pricey ($30.00 compared to ~$10.00 on Amazon). But the games are significantly cheaper with titles like NBA Street and Dragon Ball Z Budokai ($20.00-$30.00 compared to ~$40.00-$50.00 on Amazon). This was especially true of GameCube games which were usually $20.00-$30.00 in the store but as much as $90.00 online.
3. Part of the reason I was willing to overpay a little was that they test the product there. Budokai was a little scratched, so they found another one in better condition. In contrast, the left joystick of the PS2 controller I bought on Amazon doesn't totally work, and now I have to figure out the annoying return/shipping process.
TL;DR: Like most "used" stores, it's cluttered but far from dirty. A little expensive for consoles/controllers/memory cards but very cheap games compared to Amazon. They also check to make sure everything works before you buy which is nice.

It's a shame that all the negative reviews this store gets are from ignorant sellers who wants to sell their items for their retail value.. How is the owner going to make investment off of your "treasure?" The store is filled with an amazing collection of retro games and the prices are what you would expect as a majority of the old games are more collectible. The people on here barking about prices because they found it on eBay auction for a few bucks cheaper do not understand the business. Highly suggest.
