I've been going to this Hair Salon for a very long time I Even start taking my daughter here to do her hair. Every since she was 5 years old, they are very nice and professional, they braid hair well. They are very polite.
And the braids are affordable. The owner is very polite to me and my daughter. They never said anything negative to me.

Been going to this salon since Finnegans lane and they don't disappoint. The owner is awesome & my go to hairstylist is PJ she definitely has some blessed hands !

Expensive but you will look nice with your hair and your hairstyle last a long time I usually take my daughter there to get her hair braided to do a very good job they're very kind and they're very clean

If you are looking to get your hair laid....I would advise you to stop in and ask for PJ..she will hook you up..

I am here getting my hair braided now. I made an appointment few weeks ago for 9 am Saturday august 26. I walk in on time and I was questioned what number did I call ..who did I speak with..basically my appointment wasn’t written down etc. Then I was told someone is coming so I waited.
Someone came I sat down ..she barely spoke to me. Then I said what’s the price ? She said wait someone else will come and tell you. When I called I was told they can’t give me a price over the phone and was told it’s 120 and up. I demand they tell me a price before they start and they told me 250 and up !! I said that’s not what you said on the phone so I took my stuff and started walking out. Another person then came to me and said okay 170. I sat down and the entire staff started talking about me !!! I am also from Africa and underhand broken English ..making jokes calling me cheap and saying I’m extra !!! I’ve never in my life ..I will never come here again and I will continue to go to Plainfield to do my hair. I tired a shop closer to my home but it was a bad idea. This place is unprofessional ..and a hot mess. Apparently Tina was the one that was suppose to do my hair and she is better but she isn’t here today. Someone name kubash did my hair and very rude ..unprofessional and mean.

I will not waste my money going there again. The owner has a braider that does not know how to braid your hair in the styles you ask for she wants to do what she wants and will lie and say she can do the work. I spent half my day in a hot shop with someone that could not do what I wanted and my style still came out uneven. I have yet to hear back from the owner about fixing my hair the right way. I don’t like to waste my money on establishments that think it cool to not get what you paid for, even though they didn’t get paid for the price of the style I still wasted my money on something that I taken out was done very poorly.
