Mi Familia

Stopped in for a quick tamale lunch. Always a pleasure to revisit some of the flavors of Spots wood when we wander back into town. As always Mi Familia is one of our favorites. The service and food is top notch. Never a bad experience over the years. The tamales are divine! Thanks to all the folks that work there. We've missed you all.

We did a quick search on google to find a good Mexican restaurant to have our lunch. Mi Familia came up. I’d say this restaurant is really good and family based restaurant. The ambience is too good and feels like you are in Mexico. Their staffs were kind and service oriented.

They have ample of choices, they also have vegetarian options too. If you haven’t been there yet, I’d definitely recommend.

This is a nice restaurant with vibrant decor. The service given is friendly. The food didn’t take long to come out and it was fresh and tasty. The empanadas were full of meat. What I like about this place is you can mix and match tacos as opposed to getting 3 of the same kind which most other Mexican restaurants seem to offer. We will return another time.

The food here was excellent. The best guacamole appetizer we've had since a visit to Sedona, Arizona. Portion sizes were filling and the prices were very inexpensive. I had the pork Carnitas. The pork was incredibly tender. My wife had the Chicken Souizas. She loved it. My son had the beef empanadas and my daughter-in-law had the chicken quesadillas. They both really enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was quick and the server was very friendly and attentive.
Will definitely be going back.

It’s a super great place! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area and let me tell you , there tacos are great. It’s why I come here in the first place! It’s a BYOB by the way , so if you find yourself in the area come on by.

I've past by the place over a hundred times and never went in and I REGRET TO THE FULLEST this place is amazing the food is always PERFECT the chicken the beef the chimichangas! the rice everything just delicious, compliments to the chef please I will always buy from here and take my family here top Mexican spot in the area by far

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I can’t believe it took me 2.5 years living here to find out about it. The staff is always great and the food is soooo good! We love the tostadas with shrimp!

The food is simply wonderful, I have ordered from them many times, and they really make sure to get your order correct and avoid allergens, making changes to recipes as you need with no complaint. I finally went in to the location (though got it to go, which is why the pictures are in takeout containers) and was very pleased with the environment! It is obviously a family establishment, and the decorations really do scream AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. The service was lovely, my girlfriend and I were served fresh tortilla chips and verde sauce as we waited. Also, whatever their red hot sauce is, is simply amazing! I took a bite of my order with some of the sauce on it, and started sweating! I swear, that's a GOOD thing! Absolutely will order again, and plan on returning to eat in eventually.

This restaurant is amazing!! We had the chicken empanadas and the tortilla soup and they were both yummy, filling, and inexpensive. The ambiance is amazing and I enjoyed that they were playing soccer on the tv. I will definitely come back again!

Got takeout for lunch and it was delicious! Super fresh and flavorful. Their salsa is absolutely amazing

Delicious! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the pork tacos. We both loved our meals, and the waiter we had was really nice!

I’ve ordered both through DoorDash and came in person , I’ve had nothing but good experience and this place has the absolute best tacos and best chips and guacamole you’ll ever have ! Taste really fresh, love this place, it’s definitely a hidden gem in Spotswood that so many people in the area don’t know about, they deserve more buisness! The girls in the restaurant are always super nice and patient 10/10 recommend

Seems I have finally found a reliable and clean place to get tasty Mexican food after returning to the area after 20 years. Four of those years were spent in the Rio Grande Valley so I developed a taste (and a level of standards) for Mexican food. The employees are friendly, to boot. My wife and I had each had a Burrito en Salsa Verde... One chicken and one steak. Both were very tasty and satisfying. Had a nice kick of spicy without losing the flavor. I will definitely be back... Thanks to everyone at Mi Familia.

Tried there for the first time tonight, delivery. They said 45 mins & were here in 40. The food was hot & delicious!! I got the enchiladas w red sauce, spicy pork—#29. There were 3 enchiladas, & not drowning in cheese, lightly covered with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, & avocados. Definitely a nice portion at an affordable price. I wanted to finish the 3rd, but was too full. Rice and beans were amazing too. We will definitely be ordering from there again!!!

One of my favorite places to eat. They have great authentic Mexican cuisine with a big selection. The portion sizes are big, the food is delicious, and everything taste fresh. I've been going there for approximately two years since moving to Old Bridge and I've never been disappointed. I enjoy a guilty pleasure of eating their freshly made churros anytime I near the place.
