I started coming when they first opened after not being able to find a good barber for years. Well I found an awesome barber shop. Best experience everytime I come. I always wait to long and my hair looks like a mop but by the time they are done it's like i am a new person. Anyone who leaves a review less the 5 stars 🌟. Already has a negative mindset before hand.

As always Nico's is the best barber shop in the tri-state area!!! Angelo is an amazing barber who takes his time to make the cut perfect!!

I'd never go anywhere else!!

After 6 years with the same barber she decided to leave the business. I have been searching for a place like this! Nicos is a throw back to early barber shops and has a great vibe. Angelo did a great job and checked and double check my cut giving me exactly what I asked for. I left feeling great as a good haircut should make you feel. Definitely my new go to barber. I will recommend to family and friends.

I showed up scraggly and walked out, looking good. Haircut and beard trim were on point; I got a military-cut fade to the skin and styled. It's a bit pricey, but it's a real barbershop filled with professionals; you get what you pay for. Would definitely go again. First come, first served, and I believe they deal in cash only.

Stopped in at Nico's yesterday for the first time. Loved the vibe of the shop as soon as I walked in the door! I was greeted by Nico, and offered a drink or a coffee, and waited for my turn in the chair. Angelo gave me my haircut, and it was great. Great cut, great conversation while i was in the chair, just a really relaxed, classy atmosphere. This is not a quick, rushed, in & out haircut, so make sure you have time when you go. It's well worth the time. I'll definitely be back again!

Full attention to detail like no other barber or hairdresser our family has been to. Nico and his sons take the extra step in making you feel welcomed and leave no hair out of place. Highly recommend and worth the wait! My 16 year old son feels like a million bucks after a hair cut and says Nico goes 3 steps beyond a normal barber. Wish we lived closer for a monthly visit but he is now our #1 stop when visiting family in Sussex.

So let's be honest as a black man in Sussex county your options are a bit limited. I called, spoke to Nico was assured they could take care of me.

When I got there the place was impressive, a true gentleman's place. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, with an updated style that was a modern throwback to yesteryear.

The final impression You can clearly see that Nico has been doing this for a very long time, the man has a deft hand, and has clearly taught his sons well. Not only was the service great, I got a great cut and left there feeling like a million bucks.

I'd highly recommend these guys, and will now be a returning customer for a long time.

Angelo put a lot of work into my hair cut and gave me the best fade I’ve ever gotten from a barbershop. He does great work and took his time to be as accurate as possible. The place has a classic and vibe and the people are friendly. This was my first time coming here and I’m definitely coming back for the foreseeable future.

Nico and his sons are very professional, patient, and great at what they do! Clean, comfortable seating, good prices, and a great atmosphere! My husband and my son both go to Nicos, and we won’t go anywhere else!!!

Absolutely, hands down the best barber I have ever been to, and not just in NJ. Nico and his son are amazing.

Nico does an excellent job on my sons hair and straight razor on the beard. My son is very particular with who cuts his hair and he is very happy with him. He has his two boys working there who are new and learning which is good but needed a lot of their fathers attention while he was doing other people’s hair. What would have take 20 min took almost an hour. Annoying but will not stop my son from going again. Will not go to anyone but Nico.

Old school type barbershop. Building itself is new and store is immaculate with friendly conversation, if you choose, neat and clean waiting room. Greeted by a hello and offered a coffee or drink. Really enjoyed the experience and I’m won over as a new customer.
