iDa Beauty Supply Store

I just left the store and I am blown away at the experience I had. I am a mom of a daughter and son with coyly hair. I live in the Monroe area and could never find a beauty store that had my child’s hair products, brushes or hair clips. This store did!! When going in I had questions about my sons hair and she helped me understand what’s best for his hair and what brushes I could use for him. She was so sweet helping my daughter find the things she wanted for her hair too. I never felt judged for not knowing these things, she was so understanding and so helpful. She even gave me a referral for a hair salon I could go to for my daughter. I love this store! love the staff! and I will be visiting again. I highly recommend this store for your hair needs!

It is always a beautiful experience when I go to her shop. She is kind and has a lot of variety in products which I appreciate. I highly recommend shopping here for your hair care needs.

I walked in and was greeted right away. Having just left a very rude beauty store 10 minutes before, I felt jittery about shopping. I was put to ease by a lovely young lady. She assisted me in a gentle, relaxed way, and informative way. I was not followed around every single aisle when I browsed. This location is 25 minutes from where I live but I plan on shopping here from now on. The prices are not too bad, and they had what I needed. Thank you for exceptional customer service.

Finally got a chance to visit today and was not disappointed! They had everything I needed and more, and I was immediately welcomed by the owner. No need to go anywhere else! Thank you!

Visited this morning and got hair spray and a bonnet. Im in town from metro Atlanta and believe it or not, we don’t have a lot of black owned beauty stores there. Alot of workers but not alot of owners. Glad to have found one while visiting.

I love this place. The people are super friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. I've been to the others in the area and Ida's has the best customer service by far.

The vibes you get with every visit makes you feel better than when you first walked in. Very helpful and caters to natural hair. May God continue to bless this business.

I went in there not sure of what I was getting or if it was good and the lady helped me pick out everything and told me her best recommendations according to people coming back for the same products. She was so nice and patient and helped me through every step of the way. Had such a great experience here, 10/10 recommend and the prices are great!

The only Black owned Black hair beauty supply store in town! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and stylish! It's nice to go to buy supplies without being followed or eyed around the store. The service is always excellent and prices always fair. As long as I live here, I will continue to support, I am uninterested in taking my business anywhere else.

The location of the store was distance from where I stay. At least 20 miles. Therefore, I was hesitant to travel. However I am a big supporter of Black owned businesses.
In my experiences sometimes our businesses pricesare not competitive. This was not the case at iDa. The atmosphere is welcoming and helpful. Prices are affordable. A wide variety of choices. Excellent in store customer service. A wide variety of products It was worth the effort to travel make an sincere effort to travel to support this business.

Ida is such a wonderful person, a true beauty inside and out! Her store is absolutely fabulous!!! She has an amazing collection of hair, wigs, accessories and products. Her prices are very fair. The quality of everything is top notch!! Would recommend her store to everyone! ♥ Thanks Ida!!!

This review is long overdue. Opie was the best. She listened to my needs and found me a great selection. She was awesome showing me how to use the wig correctly as I am a first time user of a wig. Highly recommend this store!!!

IDA hair store isn't just a hair store there family. If I am having a problem (life issues) Ida or her loving daughter Opie will give a heart felt word to me and a great big hug. I go there so much they know when I'm feeling down, this is what makes them different. You should want to shop at a store when the owners care more about you then money.
