Can’t say enough about this place. From separate rooms for private parties, too an amazing attentive bar and then a fabulous dining room set with tons of lights! The food…always enough for two (except the sandwiches of course) and so so delectable! One of my top 5 in the area!!

We’ve been coming pretty regularly for some time and have been very happy. Tonight we had a server, Donna, whom we’ve never had before. She was so awesome and patient with me. I was indecisive and she asked me my likes, my dislikes, what I usually have etc. I wasn’t too sure about the sauce I tried which was probably amazing, just not something I would prefer. She would not take no for an answer and got me a different sauce… even after the kitchen was closed.

Another great experience and even better this time around knowing they cared enough to make sure you were happy. ❤

This family business is wonderful and old school! Great italian food and huge portions. Excellent service and prices. Bring your hunger. You'll still need a doggie bag 😀

Delicious, as always. My family and I have been coming here for almost thirty years. The food rarely disappoints, the menu is great and the specials are always delicious and unique. and the owners are kind. The holiday decorations are always next level, too!

The dining room you recommended was perfect for our small group of 25! The ambiance was incomparable. The food was delicious and plentiful! Maria, your warm professionalism put all my worries to rest and I was able to relax and enjoy our guests! The service was spectacular! You all were everywhere just when we needed you but not at all intrusive. Really, thank you for everything! You all are the indisputable BEST!

this place is so good. our waiter Scott was very attentive, friendly, and patient! come here if you want to taste really amazing food in Middletown!! the atmosphere is wonderful, the drinks are plenty, and the food is delicious. they have the best french onion soup I've ever had.

the wait is longer than most people are used to, but that is not a bad thing! it means they are preparing your meal dilligently and with fresh ingredients! I love this place, it's a great part of downtown Middletown.

This place is amazing. We decided to rent out the room in the back for our rehersal dinner and they did not disappoint us. Everyone raved about all the food and the brownie tower was to die for. Staff was super friendly and was great the entire night. Thank you so much!

I went there with my mother, & father for the first time. Enjoyed the food very much. There was a lot more than we thought there would be so we ended up taking most of it home with us. The cost for the food was very good as well. The waitress was very nice, & respectful. The female employee who came to give us water more than once was nice, & respectful as well. The female employee who covered the bar is the one who took the great photo of us three. Nice, & respectful.
Definitely a 5 star or more. I recommend this place very much.

Whenever we are in Middletown, we always stop in for a cold one and some appetizers or a complete dinner. No one makes better Italian specialties or double cut pork chops.

Most awesome food and service. Best rib eye steak i ever had. My fiance had eggplant rollatini and was great. A lot of food and great price. Deanna was a great server. Will definitely be back

This is my favorite place in Middletown. The food is amazing and the staff are awesome. They never rush you out the door and they are always warm and welcoming.

Love the feeling of the Erie. It felt like home. Everyone inside knew each other and were all happy and talking. Even the wait staff bartenders and the workers in the back were greeting and talking to everyone. I was having such a good time I don't even know what I had to eat. The food was great. If in the area I definitely would suggest you stop by.

Food here is always delicious and the portion sizes are massive. Its definitely enough for lunch the next day as well. Favorites are the Portabello Salad and Chicken Parm!

Food was amazing. Will definitely be adding this location to places to go for special events
