I run into this store quite often. Always great help. Always a great selection of what ever I'm looking for. So if you don't have time to run into one of the big box stores, go to Ace. You'll be happy you did!

Colleen and her entire team were excellent. They went above and beyond to get me a fire pit for my husbands birthday today. I am very great full for their kindness!!! My new go to place. 😉

Just needed light bulbs, 4 to be exact store only had 2. Colleen found 2 more in East Islip store rang me up and she picked up the bulbs in East Islip and brought them to me.

Nice hardware store, everything laid out and easy to find. There's always someone there to help you immediately. The customer service is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable about whatever project you need to complete

This hardware store is awesome. The cashier Dottie was wonderful and she SAVED MY HIDE. My cell phone charger did not work and I had 0% battery life (my LIRR ticket was on MTA E-TIX android app) and she was very knowledgeable and assisted me in in finding a replacement cell phone charger and gave me a 9 percent power jump which was enough for me to make it home to take medicine. Thanks to her, not only did I make it home to take my medicine without skipping a dose. I had my cell phone back. Dottie YOU ROCK. THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND THANK YOU ACE HARDWARE.

I needed help with a bunch of really odd and end hardware for work. I work in an operating room , so I must be really precise. Not on people but on the surgical robots and lasers. Most of the time I would get the hardware from the manufacture. The last two times I had a deadline to meet and of course I turned to COSTELLO'S ACE HARDWARE. The first time PETE spent about 1/2 hour with me looking for matching hardware. This guy is FANTASTIC . Pete knows his stuff and is wonderful to deal with. One other time , I had another issue and Rich helped me. Another OUTSTANDING associate . Rich did not hesitate to locate hardware for me. Costello's Ace has one great team. I will not shop anywhere else. The team at COSTELLO'S ACE HARDWARE goes way beyond in the customer service department and in the KNOWLEGE department. They are all OUTSTANDING and extremely PROFESSIONAL . You do not get that anymore, however at Costello's you do.. Again to Pete , Rich and the whole Costello's team . ONE BIG THANK YOU.

Great selection. Still carry minwax and benjamin moore paints. Home depot switched to cheap products. Nice that ace cares about quality.

My small little home town hardwear store I wish it was a little bigger but the staff knows there stuff there friendly and it's just great going into a hardware store were they remember you and have a nice conversation with you great job
