Best Stolen we've had in years. Fresh, tasty, great flavors, not heavy. Everyone was friendly with great sense of humor. Prices are great. Can't wait to try more of their goodies.

I love their raspberry crumb bars- they're delicious. Also, I recently ordered a strawberry shortcake for my daughter-in-law, and she loved it, so did her brother. Service was great, their prices are reasonable.

Their crumb cake is fantastic!!! Reminds me of the old Cherrywood Bakery in Wantagh that no longer exists!!

Definitely pay them a visit. I will be getting more crumb cake.

Delicious!! Apple Strudel (size cut to order), Rainbow Cannoli Special, and beautiful 😲 Raisin Tea Biscuit. Great, friendly service, comparable prices. Masked, < 3 customer at a time. Breads, pies, cookies... all looked yummy. Will be back to try something different. Metered street parking. Website shows 6 am open on weekends.

They have Salt Sticks! Really good ones.
Also the sour dough is soft inside, chewy outside. YUM!

Prices are good. The bread, rolls, and donuts are amazing. The service is awesome. So nice in there.

We ordered a cannoli cake this morning around 11am and picked it up fresh at 4pm. The actual cake was so soft it almost melted in my mouth and the cannoli filling was so fresh. Everyone who came for cake had a 2nd piece! They were so accommodating and made the cake very fast without notice as well! Thank you!

Good, wholesome, old-world bakeries are becoming less and less available. Thankfully, Cieslaks has continued to maintain their old world charm and quality of a myriad of bread, rolls, sweet buns, cakes, cookies, etc.

Needed a simple piping bag of icing to decorate a cake for my husband's birthday. Other bakeries near by just refused to sell me any. Cieslaks not only made me a bag with no hesitation, but wouldn't even take any money. Class act. Thank you

The girls that work here are absolutely lovely! Always sweet, helpful and serve you with a smile. They have the typical bakery fare - pastries, cookies, cake, breads, etc. We've never tried anything that wasn't absolutely delicious. They even occasionally have gluten free pastries and cookies that are amazing. But be forewarned, it's not guaranteed they'll have it in stock when you need/want it. I suggest ordering gluten free if you need it for a special occasion. While the employees are always wonderful, the owner can sometimes comes off as generally annoyed. It's not a big deal to me, and it's not all the time, however I've witnessed it enough times to deserve a mention. Either way, this is my go-to bakery in town for their consistently fresh and delicious offerings, service with a smile 😃 AND because they are the only bakery in the area that carry fresh gluten free pastries and cookies.

It just doesn't get any better than this! I had the great good fortune to work here as a teen back in the 70s when the founder still made sourdough magic happen at night. I am happy to report that the smell and taste are as wonderful now as they were under Pop's watchful eye.

My go to bakery for all, as they supply all wonderful cakes, cookies and more! This cake was special and designed for my extra special little sisters baby shower! Done on time worked with the owner and ensured me it would be done as I would like! Thank you so much!

We were in town for our sons lacrosse tournament and found this bakery through trip advisor. I wish we would have found it the first day! Everything we had was fresh and AMAZING. The service was wonderful and the little village of Lindhurst is a charming backdrop. I highly recommend the cheese bear claw and the brownies. Yum! You will not be disappointed.

Came here on the 24th and even though it was packed all the staff was patient and helpful. The fruit tart and cheesecake were a hit at the family dinner and it never fails to amaze me how great everything is

I have been dying for a Modern Bakery boston cream donut (the best you ever tasted!), or an iced crumb bun, or a chocolate layer cake or a cocount layer cake every since I moved away to Miami. This is the best bakery in the world---their cookies are amazing, and ALL home-made. The best bread and rolls I've ever tasted too. I'm coming home for Christmas, and Modern Bakery is my first stop!

Extremely generous and non judgmental people. Delicious pastries and occasionally have free samples. Super inexpensive compared to 7/11 pastries and surrounding bakeries. The best service and prices in my opinion

Amazing... I've got to admit that I am particular, even more so about "treats" brought home to me from someone else (I.e., second hand treats) which was the case with these cookies. Wow, I was wrong, these are amongst the best that I can recall having.

The backdrop is that my girlfriend works with the daughter of the family that own's the company, so she passed some along to my girlfriend in NY while she was on business. When she came home she encouraged me to have some of what I call, second hand treats. I was reluctant until today when my sweet tooth kicked in. Thank goodness for sweet teeth, I darn near devoured the entire box.

The cookies were moist, tasty, not too sweet and oh so fresh. Each and everyone of the cookies that I sampled was better than the next. So much so, that I find myself perched here now, writing this review to highlight this business.

Please, trust me, I was amazed, and believe that you will be too. Wow, what an experience, indulge yourself.

Simply the best! I am sooo picky with baked goods, this bakery's products are amazing. They remind me of the bakery that was local to my nan when I was a kid in Australia, however, Cieslaks even surpasses the one of my childhood. The raisin bread and pastries really are heaven to the tastebuds!

This is bakery is the definition of local bakery. They have very friendly and helpful staff. Baked goods are delicious at great prices!! I will be coming back every time I visit my parents. Highly recommend to everyone
