The food was really good! The staff were very nice. The portion sizes are in consistent though, with the desert being humongous. The veggie burger was really good. The salmon came with cranberry sauce. Overall a nice venue. Hope this helps!

The staff were very attentive and kept pace with the meal, very appropriate for the occasion. I ordered both the Apple Fest macaroni and a cheeseburger. The Apple Fest macaroni is definitely a must-try when you're in Ithaca, and you can try it here if you're not in town for Apple Fest itself. The burger itself was cooked to perfection, nice and tender! Very pleasant experience all around!

Great overall experience service/setting. NOLA shrimp and meatballs were good appetizers and my short rib was perfectly cooked. Mom found the bbq burger sauce a bit heavy, but my sister loved it! Cocktails good as well!

Amazing experience, the waitstaff was quick and attentive. The food was outstanding. I will recommend the Buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer, it will not disappoint! Their wine selection is very nice with a good selection of local wines. The price is also decent although not an every week price for the average person. Overall amazing experience!

Hand's down one of the best meals I've had out in a long time. Beautiful atmosphere and the wait staff was very attentive. 10 out of 10!

Do yourself a favor and make this place part of your Ithaca experience! Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, I don’t trust restaurants up north that claim to offer “Cajun” food—I’ve been disappointed too many times. But let me tell you: Chef Patrick is the REAL DEAL. There’s soul in this food.

He’s infused the richness of Gulf Coast flavor into innovative dishes like the buffalo cauliflower. And when I ate his roux gumbo and shrimp and grits (topped with jumbo Gulf Coast shrimp and locally sourced greens), I felt like I was back home.

The place also captured the welcoming Cajun spirit and the service was fantastic. I’m only in Ithaca for two nights, but I’ve eaten here both nights. Give it a try. You’ll never forget it!

We had our wedding welcome dinner here and it was a wonderful venue! It could accommodate 80 people comfortably and the food was delicious! Nikita met with us to select our food options and floor plan layout. They provided tables, linens and some table decor. She and her team answered many of our questions and were very helpful!

Very nice ambiance and menu. Lots of mixed drink, wine and craft beer choices. Food was delicious! Service was friendly and excellent. Great place which I would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, tasty selections artfully plated in an inviting setting. Very attentive and friendly staff. Creative menu choices with delicious and unique flavor combinations. Street parking can be tricky, plan ahead.

Great ambiance, lots of bricks and a very Innovative interior where food and raw materials are part of the decor that makes this place unique from wholesome ingredients artfully presented and eccentric staff along with new take on traditional dishes make this place a must visit for a family or work dinner in downtown Ithaca. a warm cozy interior coupled with tasty treats a must-visit location.

My wife and I got married in Ithaca in July 2022, and Coltivare was an amazing place to have our rehearsal dinner and day-after brunch. The food was incredible, and the service even better. Their events team was incredible thoughtful and responsive, and made both days a wonderful experience for all of our family and friends. They offered to curate a special menu for the dinner, and provided us with the entire wine cellar for the dinner, along with 1/2 of the banquet space for “welcome drinks.” For brunch, we were the only one’s in the building, and felt so cared for. We couldn’t recommend Coltivare enough for special occasions and private events. We look forward to coming back soon!

First time coming here and definitely will be back! Food was great, and Makenzie was a fantastic server. Everything came out fast, and she was extremely attentive to anything we needed.

Gorgeous place!
Impeccable service with unreal food. Our large group got three appetizer and six different entrees and everyone cleared their plates and couldn't stop raving about the food! It's expertly prepared and sourced locally. It's on the pricier side, but still a bargain for the quality you are receiving. The atmosphere in the restaurant is gorgeous, but it is on the casual side, so if you are looking for quiet and cozy, this isn't it! Highly recommended for a group dinner though! Definitely get reservations!

Appetizers in particular are interesting and delicious.

Atmosphere is also really quite nice. Not too busy and fairly quiet.

Lots of places have local food features in the menu in town, but nice to see farm to table.

Amazing food, incredible service, would absolutely come back. We ordered the lobster ravioli which had massive pieces of lobster in it and the buffalo cauliflower which was so delicious. The wait staff was very kind and helpful. One of the best restaurants in Ithaca and all local/farm to table!

A fantastic dining experience for anyone wishing to enjoy their time in Ithaca. Take a journey South and enjoy some great New Orleans dishes, or perhaps some classic Northeast cuisine--all while utilizing local ingredients. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of craft beer and Finger Lakes wines, and it's always nice when the management stops by to make sure everything is the best it can be!

Whoever designed this space knows what they are doing. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The “cheese flatbread,” which is a personal pizza could use some more flavor (garlic/salt/basil?) It was a bit bland, but the crust was great and there is potential. The mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had!!! Loved the unique “Mood-a-rita” too! 😊

The ambience is modern but comfortable. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The salmon was excellent and flavorful. the coffee cured duck breast was perfect with a crispy skin and intensely flavorful. I had the creme brulee wrapped in pastry. To die for.

I went last summer it was AMAZING! The workers did as I asked, I wanted the Macoroni and Cheese and I made a request to make it without the Apple cider and they did it. The bread was delicious. If you want some good food come here it's really good. 5 Stars
