Peterkin Park

This park was nice and had a lot of ducks good place to get some fresh air

Great, quiet little park. I got there randomly while exploring the area. I could see coming here for a relaxing lunch or some reading time.

Great playground for kids. If you're worried about the hard ground or wood chips at other playgrounds, this one has sand. The kids can go on the slides, swings or built sand castles 🏰. There is the added view of the little lake and the ducks that makes it a relaxing little park. There is even a little free library shed in the park should you want to read or exchange books.

I grew up in amityville so this park has always been the staple of the town.

Great neighborhood park. There are picnic tables, benches, a lake with ducks and turtles (seasonal). Awesome playground for the kids. A great place to meet and greet your neighbors.

What can I say about Peterkin Park? This beautiful hidden gem on Oak Street in (I believe) Amityville is off the main drags & you could miss it in your daily rushing around. BUT, this isn't a BIG park, but it certainly makes up for that in it's family friendly, beautiful settings. It's perfect for sitting & relaxing, while the kids go play on the playground Or taking a relaxing walk, just sitting & catching up with friends face-to-face for a change, or just relaxing in your car while on your lunch break or at one of the many tables available. A really nice place.

The park is great my kids like it there is a pond there that I took a good jog around its really nice.

It has been a while since I have gone to a park but had to make a detour due to a closed sidewalk. It was actually pretty nice and calming.

Beautiful Village Park and Playground

Nice little park for my grandkids complete with age-appropriate equipment, benches and paths to walk.

Its amazingly peace full, great for family fun or BBQ area and tables, also great to go for a walk with your other half😃

Very peaceful and enjoyable. Guess plenty of things to do for the kids and space for adults to enjoy some peace.

Lots of variety for kids to play with from swings to monkey bars. The pond could use more water.
