Triple Nickel Diner

Ana was very nice and the food was amazing! It’s all locally sourced ingredients and you can tell everything was fresh. Best French-Fried Potatoes I’ve had anywhere.

This little diner is a must visit! With indoor and outdoor seating, no trip on the triple nickel is complete without a bite to eat here. The menu is large enough to satisfy any appetite. The food is tasty and fresh. The staff is kind and efficient. They have a small selection of mementos to help you remember your visit and trip. The diner is small so trying to time your stop outside of typical busy hours is recommended.

This little town is near and dear to my heart. I only stopped at the Triple Nickel to get a piece of pie. Lots of motorcycles in the parking lot because they know what the best roads in Ohio are. A great place to stop for refreshing in the midst of traveling the curves. The coconut cream pie was delicious, I have known the person making the pies for half my life, and pies have always been the specialty. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere, too.

Such a genuine, warm hearted environment and the food most certainty was delicious and sourced locally. Highly recommend the bison burger. Met the owner and she was a lovely woman with a beautiful story. Have struggled to find decent food options within a 30 minute radius to Athens. This will be our new go to. Check them out and support good people supporting the community!

Triple Nickel is one of those little hidden gems. For you foodies out there who like to support local and have some delicious food, this is one of those places. It's cute, it's small, it's lovely sourced. Check them out!

I had no reason to not leave a five. It is a very small place just right for that stop during a long drive. They do not seat very many at once, there are restrooms(clean) , a very nice menu with locally sourced items! The food was very good and portions were plentiful. Waitress was efficient and kind. The price was very acceptable considering it was mostly locally sourced veggies, and meats(lamb!).

Totally loved this diner. Our meals were GREAT. The sweet potato hash is FANTASTIC! Waitress was so pleasant and efficient. Our compliments to the cook! The peanut butter pie was OUT OF THIS WORLD too.

Perfect breakfast place! Pancakes were a huge stack of 3 and gluten free, sausage gravy and biscuits all homemade and our waitress was amazing! We drove over an hour from Logan just to eat here on local recommendation.

Wow! This place is great! The food is all fresh, locally sourced, and prepared well. The setting is perfect and the staff more than nice. We will be back next time we are down to ride the 555. ❤

It's a nice little dinner tucked away along 555. Great burgers and fries and delicious breakfasts! They have a nice little assortment of microbrews, and I've never had a bad piece of pie from them. Locally sourced meats. Also locally made soaps, jams, and candles for sale. We go there at least once every time we are hiking in the area.

A diamond in the rough! Located in a southern part of Ohio. My wife had first discovered this gem a month ago and she took me there on my last trip down to Athens Ohio. It was a wonderful experience, very clean and charming with a simple menu that served nothing but the freshest ingredients. Beef is local, all grass fed which makes for the best in freshness and flavor. The staff was very professional as well.

Great dining experience. Food was excellent. Everything cooked just as ordered. And the coconut cream pie was the best I have ever had!! Don't skip the pie!!!!! They have gift cards what a wonderful way to support small businesses and plan for upcoming holidays!!

Delicious sweet potato hash, soups, breakfasts...you can't do wrong at Triple Nickle Diner! Friendly service. Good food!

Fantastic breakfast, lunch, dinner. Excellent homemade pie --definitely try the rhubarb or the raisin! Great friendly service in a comfortable country atmosphere. Yes, this is out in the country, but well worth the scenic drive.!

I stubbled across one of the best little Diner's ever when I was lost today. I thought I had been there once a long time ago and they had fantastic food, so stopped to gather some directions, and grab a drink and a bite to eat. My mind, belly, and wallet were not in agreeance. I cannot remember most of their names and the one I do remember is because it's the same as mine lol. I'm ashamed of that and I will find out but they made me feel at home and at ease and the lady I had a quick talk with on way in, and way out was my little guardian angel today she feed me the BEST BLT I think I have ever eaten, cup of great coffee and directions. I will not forget how to get there, and I will go back as often as I can, and of course have more than 6 dollars on me. I bet their pie is the BOOM I have to try it next time. I want to say a million thanks I appreciate it in more ways then one. Thank you for being your awesome self, you didn't have to do that and yet you did and I am so grateful, I will try and manifest ya'll some great tips you deserve that and much more. I cannot wait to go back. It is worth the drive so if you find yourself needing a food trip this is a great place to go, or if in the area make sure to stop and try you a little something I promise you will not regret it.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat. Their food is locally sourced, fresh, and always delicious. The staff is friendly and they have the BEST pies (try the peanut butter - you won't regret it). I can't speak more highly on how much I love this place. If you're in the area you should definitely make the stop!

If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would. You will NOT find a restaurant with fresher food than this place. Nearly everything on the menu is local (meat from down the road, produce from the garden out back). Outstanding service and absurdly low prices. If you are within 50 miles of this place, do yourself a favor and go! An Ohio Treasure!

My husband and I decided to stop at the Triple Nickel Diner after reading all the great reviews. It is as good as the reviews suggest! The service was great, atmosphere clean, cool (much appreciated on a hot day on our motorcycles) and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The owner not only uses locally sourced meats, but much if not all of their produce is from her garden just behind the restaurant. They use great quality ingredients; My husband and I have had dinner here several times and typically get the shew burger with sweet potato fries. Their daily specials have yet to disappoint. We highly recommend this restaurant, it's a must whenever we're in town.

It's always a delight to eat here. Make sure you get a piece of pie. My favorite is the peanutbutter.
