Coney Island Diner

Service is amazing and the food is very good. Came in for Breakfast and was very impressed. I highly recommend this place for your dining pleasure.

I was in town on business.
Delicious food, great location and very cool true old-school diner.
The coney sauce is their own recipe- not spicy and very flavorful. Fries are lightly coated and perfectly crisp on the outside. I got a chocolate/peanut-butter shake that was thick and so good!
Catty-corner from the historic Carosel, this is a great place to stop!

Fantastic, I would give 10 stars if I could. Wonderful people, staff and customers. Coffee was hot and fresh. Food was delicious. I certainly recommend the western omelette and the corn beef hash, crispy on the corn beef hash.

The new owners have given an already great menu better fries. They serve Hershey’s ice cream and pie for desert. The ambiance is retro diner and the service is friendly.

This was my first experience here. And will not be my last! I love a quaint little dinner. The food was fantastic and the servers are amazing. Not to mention the food came out very quickly. 1000% recommend a visit. And very reasonable prices! Afterwards pop across the street and enjoy the Carousel!

Fries have a breading on them for an extra taste. Coneys are made just like always, great. Pea salad is a fresh choice. Good times

I’ve been coming here since I moved to Mansfield and wanted to try it out with the new owners. My daughter and I would come in while we explored the Bookshop and Thrift Store in the same block. Never was disappointed. The pansies were as big around as her head and so so good! Corned Beef Hash and eggs over medium were my go to. Stopped in last week and it was still as good if not better!

I remember when I would come here as a kid. Always loves the foods and atmosphere of this place.
The restuarant allowing of everyone to come and eat here. If you wear a mask or not. But still bring the best restaurant experience they have been doing for many years.

I actually been stopping in here a couple times the past month and I got a cheeseburger deluxe with cheesesticks and a chocolate shake both times cuz it was all so delish! And the people that work there are always very pleasant 😄

A lovely nostalgic diner. Their chocolate milkshake uses Hershey's chocolate and tastes amazing! The sweet pea salad is delicious too. It's a great stop for families when visiting the carousel across the street.

After eating breakfast and lunch here in the past two weeks I was surprised to read the Trip Advisor reviews but then realized they were old from 2-3 years ago. Apparently, they are under new ownership the last 7 months at the Mansfield, Main street location only (other ownership by Gazebo). The atmosphere is right out of (an old) Life magazine so the five of us sat at the counter for lunch... Service was fast, polite, and always checking on you; the food was hot and very tasty. Soup special was really good! Of course, my two grandchildren loved the ice cream (cookies n cream and superman). Price is comparable to other small businesses but like others they are dealing with terrible food price inflation in the country...

Lovely place. Best food I've had in a diner for a long time. Best coneys I've had for a long time. Everyone seemed happy and stress-free, including the staff.

Great American family traditional Diner. The Coney's are the
attention getter, the fun atmosphere, decor, 50's Mansfield
stuff is way cool. We had burgers and Coneys, shrooms and
fries. Just right. Staff was friendly, smiling and attentive. We sat at the bar, on cool stools, booths were mostly full at 1;00 on a Thursday afternoon. They have Ice Cream Too!!, next time.

Located in my home town, I took my kids there as children... and we still meet up there whenever we are all in town. It's 'home' and the staff are friendly, the grilled cheese with tomatoes and pea salad are yummy, and location is beautiful- downtown Mansfield. Gourmet? No. Comfort food? Yes.Grab a glass bottle of rootbeer pop while there and just absorb the old school way of life. <3

Great spot for lunch in downtown Mansfield. Very retro. Quaint. Aubrey was a great server. We enjoyed the famous pea salad and onion rings. Sweet tea was refreshing.
