Cranston Animal Shelter

When coming to adopt- they were very informative and helpful. You can tell the people there truly love and give the best to the animals in their care. ACO Shelby helped me with everything and answered all my questions. Its clear she is passionate about her job by how much she knows and cares for each animal. The Cranston Animal Shelter truly goes above and beyond for these animals as well as community members who come in.

Cranston Animal shelter are friendly when greeted at the door and they show how much they care for all the four legged friends. The staff helped me with through the process to adopt my little furry friend. Super happy to have met such great people !

I love the staff and facility! The staff have been ultra nice to me. I recently lost my 11 year old cat so I was depressed so I was told to go to the Cranston Animal Shelter and I fell in love with a three year old female boxer/pit mix named Chanel. The staff take care of the pets in the shelter and show love to these pets in ways I haven't seen in years since my mom worked for MSPCA on Martha's vineyard.

We just adopted Dewey from your shelter and he's already settling in wonderfully ! The staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for taking care of him until he found his perfect home with us ♥

I was so impressed with the cleanliness of this shelter. My daughter and I went in to look at available cats. It smelled wonderful, like fabric softener. When have you ever thought a shelter smelled like clean linen? The young women who were staffing the shelter were so polite, accommodating, and compassionate that I felt compelled to write a review for this outstanding shelter. The animals were well cared for. Don't hesitate to adopt from this facility.

I have been visiting the Cranston Animal Shelter for a few weeks hoping to find a cat to fit my lifestyle. Thank you to the supportive staff I was able to find the cat of my dreams! I was so happy to be able to work with the shelter adoption coordinator who was supportive, patient, and professional - and super friendly! I would certainly recommend to anyone! Coming back again to volunteer my time - thanks to these amazing staff members!

I really love this shelter. It is very clean and well kept. The animals are very well cared for and the staff is amazing. I rescued my best friend Rhody from here in January and couldn't be happier. Shelby introduced us to Rhody and it was love at first sight. The adoption process was a breeze. I highly recommend adopting a pet from this shelter.

My St Bernard Moose jumped through a window to find me lol, and the staff had picked him up. (Had valid tags but long story - happen to call and they had him - he’s not a wanderer so I know he didn’t go more than a block or two)
They let him stay by the air conditioner in their office because he was panting so much for the whole day. They were so caring to him!!!

Just adopted my kitten Marney from here. She was a stray kitten they had trapped. She has really warmed up to me and her sister zoey (my 1 yr old chi mix). She is fluff ball of love! Thank you for giving me the best kitten ever! Shes doing amazing in her new home.

Visited the Cranston Animal Shelter for the first time today. A friend was looking to adopt a cat. The cats were very well cared for and it was obvious that the employees were dedicated to their furry charges. It was a happy ending for one rescued cat and for my friend.

My experience at the shelter has been a great one! I have to say it is clean and welcoming. The staff are very dedicated and awesome people who want what's best for Their animals! The animals them selves are loved and cared for by the staff and volunteers as they work to find them the best homes!

So much has changed for this shelter and in such a POSITIVE WAY!!! Staff is soo nice and it is so clean and healthy for these animals in need! So glad that it has a fresh new attitude. Will gladly help and donate anyway I can now.
