K & K Hardwood Floor

Kookie came highly referred by a client of mine Who has used her for two separate refinishing projects. I’m very glad I used her and her team. Not only was pricing fair, but she was communicative and timely with the work. She completed a full sand and refinish of my floors, and left very little dust. There were one or two small areas that the floors had been raised from cupping, and she sanded and used wood filler to fix the holes. Thank you kookie and your team.

My floors look amazing. Had Kitchen, Dining Room, Hallway and Living Room finished. We were very pleased with the time line and costs. Very little inconvienence for our family.

I have used this company in the past and was not very satisfied but I just needed a small bedroom done this time around and didn’t want to spend a lot so I decided to try them again . The owner answered she is very hard to understand (language barrier)she gave me a price without looking at it and told me she could do the floor next day . That Should have been the first red flag for me but of course I just wanted it done . In this situation you get what you pay for . Her son walked in my house said you have cash for me and then started working. They were done in 1.25 hours ,the floor is duller than it was before they started and when I called her and said it needed another coat she told me it would be another $200. You get what you pay for and when they tell you they can do it next day there is a reason why. I learned my lesson this time and will definitely not use them again . If you want something cheap and done fast , this is your company just dont expect it to look good or be done the right way which is normally a few coats of polyurethane.

If I had the option I would have given zero stars. I usually won’t post a negative review unless I feel it’s truly warranted and this certainly is. We had this company come out and quote us to completely refinish our hardwood floors throughout the house. After being forgot about for our first appointment we decided to still give them a chance. We talked about color, technique, time frame, everything. We booked out a week which we are on a very strict timeframe and they agreed to work with the dates. We received a phone call today from the lady stating she can’t do the job because our floors are laminated (which they are not, paperwork to prove). She claimed her guy said they were, which this “guy” has never stepped foot into our house to physically determined whether they were or not. I tried to explain to her that they are real hardwood floors and she argued back with me saying I need to find a new company. So now we have less than 2 weeks to find a new company, have them quote the job and be able to do the job on the week that we have available. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever attempted to work with. The lack of consideration this lady gave our situation AFTER booking the job with us and not hearing from her for two weeks she now decides she can’t complete the job. Do yourselves a favor guys, hire a real company who is professional and doesn’t argue back with you after they completely blew you off on your first scheduled appointment.
