Stop & Shop

I do shop here as one of four stores I frequent. I do not buy the majority of my groceries from here, mainly take advantage of the sales when they have what I need.

Phenomenal rose bouquet made last minute, on site!!! Wrapped beautiful AND added the diamond gems. Thank you Linda and generous colleague!

This is one of the best Stop & Shops in the area. Their prices are a little high compared to other supermarkets in the area but the store itself is large, clean, and well-stocked. This one has one of the best international foods sections I’ve seen at a non-specialty, major grocery chain in the area. I didn’t buy meat here so can’t speak to the rotten meat comments that others have made, but the milk and eggs I bought had no problems.

Prices could be a little better but i still like shopping here

Great customer service!! I went in last night for a cake for my mom’s birthday, but knowing me I went at the last minute, and the bakery was close, and the cake was behind the glass stand with the price tag underneath the cake and so I asked a guy from the deli department if he could just get the cake and give it to me because it was all set with the price tag and all, he said he couldn’t because he doesn’t work in that department and I was OK with it because I was the one who went late to the store, so I went back to the bakery and I was just walking around waiting to see if somebody was still in the back in the bakery working, 15 minutes later nothing, so I decided to go to the customer service and I asked the girl that was working there if I could speak to the manager and she said yeah so she called him right away. So this very kind man came to me and asked me what I need it, so I told him the whole story, that I needed the cake from behind the glass stand because that was my mom’s favorite cake. He was very warm and understanding. He walked with me to the bakery wash his hands so he could get me the cake. I’ve never had such awesome experience with a manager before they always look so busy and doing their thing. Thank you so much Sir! She’s enjoying a piece just now.

Consistently good. I support them for their community support and the union membership of the work force.

They have different things that some stores don't.........

Kudos to Bruce in the deli department who has the most valuable customer service skills you don't find anymore. Now that's how you retain your customers!!!

Not sure what rock people commenting here are living under but to be upset about shelves not fully stocked really highlights their ignorance to a nationwide problem. Honestly, people will say anything to hear themselves talk... and it's. always negative...bad meat, bad milk, bad this week, bad next.. argh.. enough negativity.

this store is great and I've had no issues. They work hard. and do a great job, despite unwarranted negative comments here.

Nice wide selection, clean, some meats and produce is more expensive than other grocery stores in the area

Love this grocery store. Has everything you need. Can't deal with the price increase but still a great store.

It's close to my house and very convieient. Good selection of everything. Bakery is very good. Sales are also great, so get the flier every week for the best deals. They still use their own discount cards where other companies have gotten rid of them. I'm very happy going to this store.

I am disabled but can can slowly climb a few steps. Unfortunately crutches makes it impossible to carry things. So not only do they have to go upstairs but they have to deal with a security system and they do it without complaint.

Been going to this location for years and now go out of my way when the east prov location is closer. Seems like it’s been under better management always clean always have what I need and very helpful employees. Actually been a few times I left in a better mood because the kids at the deli were so nice, quick and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about this location.

A very clean functional store

The service is excellent wide selection of products at reasonable prices!! I love their meat department that's where I get my hamburger's and steak!!😃 the department managers are awesome. The store is going through a remodel

The Cottage St Pawtucket S &S Service desk staff was friendly and helpful in cashing an employee pay check, more so than No Smithfield. I also needed help with an item that there wasn't enough stock on the shelve, I asked a front store employee staff who immediately got someone from the back how came within minutes of the call. He got the bottles of water I needed on the bottom of a stack on an end cap with no problem. This made my experience at this store extremely pleasant.
