Opa Restaurant

Wonderful! There was four of us and not one complaint! The food was out standing and plentiful, service (Joyce and assistants) was very nice and knowledgeable. She didn’t try to rush us on a Saturday night and let us enjoy all the offerings. Highly recommend the special “Trip to Lebanon” on the menu, two have to purchase, but it let you try so many options and as someone who hates decision making on the weekends this was perfect.

The best and freshest Mediterranean & Lebanese food around. Raw meat, bird's nest, grilled calamari, & hummus are some of my personal favorites. Chef Joe never disappoints and the atmosphere is always cozy & welcoming. Top notch!

My friends and I took a leap and had Joe help us explore all the wonderful food!! Everything was sooo good I did not have one bad thing everything was so tasty. Our waitress was awesome absolutely loved every minute!!

i frequent opa often for quiet lunches, outing with friends, birthday dinners, etc. and i think its underrated! in the heart of fed hill is this lebanese-greek-italian fusion spot that has something on the menu for everyone, hookah that slaps, and a comfortably fun atmosphere. the servers are helpful even on a busy saturday night. my favorite thing to get is the opa seafood salad. i sometimes just eat it as a meal with my hot mint tea. they put salmon, calamari, AND shrimp on a garlic herb green salad and it’s that fresh new england seafood with perfect grill marks and a smokey grilled flavor. i bring friends who visit from out of state to have this salad and experience opa with me.

Delicious food and excellent service! All of the waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. The bread that was served beforehand was very tasty but not filling (which is a plus so you can enjoy your main meal more), and the food arrived relatively quickly! I was surprised that this restaurant wasn't as crowded as the others; I guess people haven't found this hidden gem yet!

This restaurant was great! The atmosphere is relaxing, food & drinks were fantastic & flavorful, and servers are very attentive and prompt. The hookah was so good, good flavors to choose from. Went on a Monday, so it wasn’t too busy. On the weekends they have entertainment, definitely need to try it then! Pricey, but worth it!

Atmosphere is amazing. The people are even more incredible. I can't believe that this is an environment that is so enriching with goodness family run just in a amazing place. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who comes to providence. They must visit on anyone's list.

Food: Chicken Birds Nest Plate (chicken breast, Mushroom, onion, and red pepper sautéed in olive oil, garlic red wine, and lemon juice served with saffron rice and house salad).

Ambiance: Dim lit, small and cozy vibe. You can dress up at this venue.
Parking: Street parking is available. The venue also has a valet.
Pricing: A little pricey.
Food (flavors): I LOVED the flavors in my dish. The veggies, chicken, and rice were cooked very well. The chicken was juicy and the rice was cooked to perfection. They drizzled a sauce on top of the whole dish that added a burst a flavor that I really enjoyed. This dish was on the savory side, which I really enjoyed. The salad was pretty standard.
Portion size: Medium to large.

This Lebanese restaurant is a super fun atmosphere! We were celebrating a birthday as were many other guests. We all enjoyed our meals especially me. I had the lamb chops and they were the best I had so far. Then the entertainment started. A belly dancer danced for all the guests. So we watched the dancer as we had hooka. It was a great Friday night at a great restaurant. I recommend!

Joe is part of the show. Owner/Manager/Chef all-in-one. There is no other place on/off Federal Hill that you can feel right at home with a twist of royalty. From the chefs choice platter with an abundance of meat/rice/veggies to the hookah options, its prime every time.

OPA was a great first time experience. The service was quick and easy. Our server was wonderful with us. I didn't like the red lighting throughout the restaurant, but that's a personal preference! We went on a Thursday evening so there wasn't any belly dancers, but I heard that's a great time too! I ordered the lobster ravioli and had 0 complaints! I also ordered the cheese/cracker appetizer that we personally didn't like.

Called because when we went on grubhub , it looked as though the restaurant was closed but we knew it was actually open. They called Grubhub right away and fixed the issue. Incredible service, amazing hummus, literally everything we ordered was perfect. 100000/10 ♡

First time eating at this restaurant, super fun atmosphere! We were celebrating a birthday as were many other guests. The drinks was good, I got the beef kabobs w/ Mediterranean Rice and salad.

Great time and food was A+ drinks were great. Service was excellent will definetly be back the vibes were awesome honestly i just took a corner seat and relaxed.

In your mouth skewered chicken, the French fries to the baklava for dessert, this place is ABSOLUTELY worth it! As we were eating dinner tonight, we were trying to think of the next time we would be able to dine here again. Everything that we ate we delicious and fresh! You can taste the attention to detail and care that goes into their food! From an executive chefs perspective, this place exceeded every expectation and then some! We are normally regulars of another restaurant a block down the street, but not any longer. We’ve found a new home! If you haven’t tried Opa, you are missing out, I promise you! Prices are not crazy, the service, staff and facilities are top notch!

The atmosphere was elegant and fun. Seemed to be a more adult friendly restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible. Doubt you could find anything on the menu that isn't delicious. And to top it all off, the servers are top quality 👌 highly recommend!

Just returned from a wonderful dinner at Opa's. Joyce our server was wonderful ...made us feel at home and helped us with ordering. Our food was amazing can't say enough about it. The atmosphere is cozy. Our meal was wonderful and we will definitely be back. So glad we tried it!!!

A must visit on Federal Hill. Ordered the chicken birds nest and was not disappointed. Packed with flavor, fresh herbs, a hit of citrus garlicky perfectly cooked. Rice was perfectly cooked and the side salad was the perfect fresh accompaniment, also fresh and bursting with flavour.
