This place was so enjoyable we returned for dinner a few days after lunch at Besina. We did the burger place and were blown away. I am gluten free/vegan but my boyfriend eats everything and HE loved the food too!

The everything fries were insane, and I was overjoyed to experience onion rings for the first time since going gluten free.

At the Mexican restaurant we ordered a few dishes, and by far my favorite was the mesa cake with mushrooms. I don’t remember what it was called but that one was outstanding. The quesadilla was amazing too,

And the drinks!!! BF got the best mocktails we’ve tried and I had some seasonal cocktails.

The whole experience was just what I wanted. Wish there was one in Florida!!

OH and we got a German chocolate pop tart from the bakery. Amazing 😚🤌

Amazing !!!!!
Simply one of best vegan restaurants that I’ve eaten at. My husband and I will drive an hour from Massachusetts just to enjoy the food here. Such an amazing selection of delicious options and tasty treats. So inspiring!

TLDR: There's no other place like Plant City. Exquisite, mouth-watering American, Italian, and Mexican dishes brought by ethically responsible management and accommodating staff adjacent to the Providence River. 9/10, an experience one cannot miss. (Recommend Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza, Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, and Fried Chicken Sandwich)

Growing up eating beef stew, lamb skewers, or stir-fried chicken on a daily basis, vegan meals (bland salads) were always ignored on my radar. However, an unexpected diet of raw vegetables and tomato pasta this summer and the health benefits I felt from it opened me up to the realm of plant-based meals. However, the problem of flavor still remained: vegan meals, IMO, could never be as tasty as a cut of well-seasoned, perfectly grilled meat.

That's why Plant City is so special. A restaurant & food hall that not only delivers delicious, flavorful vegan & allergen-aware food but is also dedicated to ethically sourcing with local businesses and bettering the Earth's environment with plant-based diets.

My first experience at Plant City was one of pure amazement. The ambiance reminds me of a lively, small-town - but modern - bar. With a Mexican & Italian Restaurant on the second floor, a cafe & grill on the first, and outdoor dining by the river? A lively crowd makes this place perfect for a Thursday night dinner.

The food is the perfect icing on top. It's quality, flavorful dishes with great attention to detail on the ingredients sourced. The fact that it's vegan and ethically produced just makes the entire dining experience more meaningful. I especially recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza from Double-Zero (a reference to the Italy-imported flour used for the dough) and the Fried "Chicken" Sandwich from new.burger. The photos/videos should speak for themselves on the attention to detail in each dish.

Highly recommend every person, regardless of what kind of diet you follow, to at least try Plant City. The first bite is the coup de grâce - once you try Plant City, you're gonna come back for seconds.

My niece has a dairy allergy and I rather reluctantly went with her to Plant City. We sat outside and ordered a pizza and pasta dish from 00, the Italian restaurant within Plant City. Oh my goodness. It could not have been more delicious! I was actually amazed at the richness of the mushroom and kale pizza. The pasta cacio e pepe was incredible as well and honestly again I was wondering if there was cheese in it but, no, completely vegan, and so good. It's so inspiring! It's really changed my life and I've been learning how to cook without all the cheese and dairy which was my downfall! Since the first visit I returned for a caesar salad, and pasta carbonara. Both outstanding. Can I say enough good things? I did walk through the upstairs restaurant which has a bar and looks very cozy. I'll be going back for my birthday 🎂. I have yet to try some of the other offerings which includes Mexican and Burgers. They also have to go bowls and wraps, and a cafe area. Check it out!

First impressions were a little chaotic. There was no one at the first floor host stand so it was a bit baffling what to do and the only obvious choice was the takeout line for the burger place. Also this isn’t really a food hall in any sense, it’s three restaurants under one roof. You need to pick a cuisine and stick to it.

We picked Italian and headed upstairs. We enjoyed the pepperoni pizza although I would call the topping more of a crumbled sausage. Very yummy. Then we had the vodka sauce pasta which was also very good. Very nicely made pasta with a nice bite and chew to it. The breadsticks were not good, very heavy and chewy. Lots of other menu options looked great too. Would definitely go back.

My cousin & I went here for lunch & it was OUTSTANDING. We dined at New Burger (American Bistro). They also have Make Out (Sandwiches & Smoothies), Double Zero (Pizza Bar) & Besina (Mexican) to choose from. They also have a coffee bar. All are under the same roof. New Burger is on the 1st floor. I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT. I substituted the bread for lettuce & added avocado & pickles. It was divine. My cousin ordered the Barbecue Burger & she loved it. We split sweet potato fries, which were also great. We both finished our meals. It was filling & satisfying. I’ll definitely be back to try Besina & Double Zero ❤

I went to New Burger - which was great.
The drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) were phenomenal and the apps were amazing (especially the cauliflower wings I CANNOT recommend enough).
I have to say I didn’t actually like the burgers, they just didn’t have much structural integrity and them being so soft. Kind of left for a mushy texture all around which I didn’t love.

We came up from NYC to try out all the vegan yummyness! For lunch, we went to Double zero and the pesto arugula and zucchini pizza is AMAZING! In the evening we went to 345 where we ate bang bang broccoli and my bf really loved the drinks. Then went to the burger spot where my bf loved his chicken burger and onion rings. All the staff was great! And the store is like an added bonus to this little vegan wonderland!
February 2024 update : Double Zero is still amazing! I've been missing the pesto pizza and eggplant parm this past year! Raw lasagna is sooo good!!

Alright, let's get down to it. Why does this place get 5 stars from me?
Service: The moment you hit their front door, you're greeted with friendly smiles and pleasant attitudes. The tell of good service is when an establishment is bustling. This is around brunch time on Saturday and Sunday. Will you be acknowledged during your wait? Yes! If seated, will the waitstaff still be attentive to your needs and check on you? Yes! They answer questions with confidence. If they don't know, they will find out and return with a satisfactory answer.
Food: Everything is fresh, well prepared and they have variety! You can have anything from a quick coffee n pasty to what feels like a 5 star meal experience. They're very accommodating to allergies which ensures a wonderful culinary experience. My pictures are from New Burger (American bistro). Everything was delicious. The Tiramisu donut should be a menu staple because such decadence needs a permanent stay. Do yourself a favor and get a pizza from Double Zero. The margarita pizza is the best I've had. Another, patron told me to try the pepperoni. On my last visit, we tried the drinks and just like the food, it was wonderful.
Be sure to check out the marketplace. Great if you want specialty items sourced by local vendors.
Atmosphere: there is indoor and outdoor seating. I've only dined indoors. Partly because of the staff. They're quite engaging. The environment is clean and the vibe is cool.
On our last visit, we brought friends who've been interested in trying plant based food. They had a delightful experience and want to return.
I learned that there is a sushi bar that opens at 4pm. I plan to return to try it.
I promise you, the food is so good that you'll be constantly questioning "is this really vegan?" Yes, it is! My husband swears they have the best Reuben he's ever had and he's still baffled that it's plant based.
Oh, and I'm sure you've read this far and thought... "Yeah, but how much does it cost? $$ ($10-21. Desserts and coffee bar are less) which is comparable to most dine-in restaurants. It's so worth it because (refer to all of the above!) Enjoy! 😊

Vegan restaurant with a large menu, have eaten there several times and the food is always very good to excellent. Service is good but prices are a bit high. There are three restaurants each with it's own menu. Good cannot be shared between restaurants so pick your seat carefully!

It doesn't happen everyday to get to have a delicious meal in such a lovely venue *and* get to meet the restaurant owner who offers you and your friends a whole pizza! Had the best time, great service and some of the most delicious plant-based food I've ever had - sadly only here for a couple days but should I ever be back in the area I would definitely come back. 100% recommended! Thank you for such a delightful experience.

Plant City - A 4 in One restaurant café with delicious food. The Sushi, the pasta, the cauliflower wings, everything was tasty, flavorful and extremely enjoyable. As a vegetarian, this was one of the rare places where I could try everything my friends got and it was amazing. Great service, great food, and a great concept. Will definitely be back!!

Updated update: we made it back for what is now an annual eating tour. We ate here three more times. It is our favorite place to eat! We ate at Besina, New Burger and Make Out. This place continues to blow our minds!

Update: made it back to Providence and ate at Plant City 3 more times. Had a chance to try the pasta dishes at Double Zero. Mind blown. 10 out of 10!

My husband and I took a road trip from Maine to eat at Plant City. Ended up eating three meals here. Highlights included the buffalo chicken sandwich, chili cheese fries, mushroom & chorizo tacos. Every bite was beyond delicious. Plant based food that tastes too decade to be healthy. #Powered by Plants is an epic food experience. Feed your soul & help the planet. No compromise needed.

This was so delicious! We opted for the Mexican spot called Besina and I got the mushroom quesadilla. It was so good and flavorful. The dessert was a Tiramisu Donut and it was ok. We will be back to try the other foods!

If Plant City was on every street corner, I'd probably, maybe, never go back to non-plant-based restaurants ever again. The food and atmosphere here is fantastic (especially upstairs). There are 3 distinct plant-based restaurants within Plant City: one Mexican (Besina), one American (New Burger) and one Italian (Double Zero). I personally haven't tried Besina yet, but New Burger and Double Zero have amazing dishes that I keep coming back to eat again.

The prices are reasonable (if a bit pricey). I will be coming back in the future. Their desserts and teas are also *really* good. Definitely recommended. Wish they had more locations!

One building, three restaurants, a coffee shop, and all plant based food. Sounds lovely, I'm there.

Plant City is a wonderful place to stop for a meal while in Providence Rhode Island. They offer American, Italian, and Mexican inspired plant based meals. They also do brunch until like 2 PM. Ya, I think anything after noon can't be brunch, but what do I know. 🤷🏽‍♀ Besides it's nice to have a breakfast style meal after a morning hike. So I am not going to complain.

In warmer weather they offer patio dining.
