Cassarino's Restaurant

An Italian restaurant in federal hill in Province RI. It has 3 stories so many seating but highly recommend to make reservations. Food is excellent, service is great. Nice place to go with family dinner. The noise level is a bit too much. I wish it is slightly less noisy. Food portion is big.

Pretty sure the size of this meal could feed the entire East Coast. Super yummy sauce and chicken was perfect and crispy but not dry. Execution and flavor was great!

This is *the* neighborhood in Providence to go if you want killer Italian food, and this is a restaurant that completely delivers. ALL the classics you would hope for, at a top-notch level that will make you come back. This is as good as it gets for Italian. Is it romantic/date night worthy? It's a little too contemporary/clean lines for that cozy feeling. But if the quest is really good Italian classics with an attentive professional staff...ya...you found it.

On vacation with Mom, we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal on our last night. Cassarino's did not disappoint! Excellent food, excellent service, this place gives you all the good feels. We split the chicken parmesan entree, and it was more than enough. Done perfectly, flavorful, and the pasta was cooked just right. We also split dessert, which was amazing! Not sure about parking, as the hotel shuttle dropped us off. There is a nice area outside the restaurant with seating (about 3-4 tables), however it is very close to the road, so you'll be sharing your meal with traffic. I highly recommend this place, you will be treated like royalty!

It was a private party I attended on the second and third floors. Great layout for the group we had. The drinks were spot on. The charcuterie boards for perfectly laid out. Stuffed olive and cheese filled pepper was delicious as well as the other things out. Lambchop bone, scallop in bacon, and individual meatballs in cups were amazing. The buffet style main course consisted of steak with peppers and olives, which had tons of flavor. The ChicParm was flawless on top of the penne pasta. Traditional mixed green salad and dressing. Last was the potato Croquette that was lightly crunchy on the outside and perfectly smooth on the inside! Wonderful experience both times now! My picture does not do the food the justice it deserves, but I went back more than once and filled 3 containers on the way out so my wife could appreciate it as well!

We enjoyed a wonderful experience at Cassarinos! Natalia greeted us very warmly, and our bartender, Meg, was superb! My Tito's Martini was the best I've ever had. Try their grilled Asparagus! Cooked perfectly. The Bone In Veal Chop special was mouth-watering. The manager. Travis...so nice! Thank you all for a lovely date night dining experience!

Damn near the best Italian food I’ve had outside of New York. The caesar salad was incredible, fresh, crisp, and savory!! I had the Pink Pesto Vodka Pasta and it was fantastic! the portions are incredibly generous and not bad on the pockets either. Ambience wise, service was great and the restaurant was buzzing with great atmosphere. Definitely on the must return list!

Four of us returned to celebrate a birthday in the group. Has become a tradition, and that says something for the good and atmosphere of Cassarinos. Our server Nicholas was very attentive and efficient, allowing us to enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace. We always enjoy the house specials, and the midweek complimentary valet parking is a nice plus. Great experience!

Staff was very attentive and on point while we were there. All of the food we ordered was top notch! Very generous portions and a very clean environment. Everyone was satisfied in our party of 5. Will definitely be back in the future.

The food was delicious - we ordered the appetizer "zuppa " little neck clams in champagne
I ordered the Pollo Milano and there was enough to feed 4 people. But I didn't want to share - if was so yummy!
Nick, our server, was excellent - attentive, friendly, talked about the dishes and history of the restaurant. All around great experience - we'll most definitely go again.

Perfect dirty martinis and loved the vibe! Very sleek with black interior, string lights and plants. We were super excited for some amazing Italian food. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Pleasantly surprised by the vegan menu. Bruschetta, eggplant parmigiana and sausage aurora. Phenomenal!

We're not from Providence, but this restaurant is a destination along with spending time walking Federal Hill. Soup-to-nuts first rate Italian food, large portions (important to me), nice atmosphere, excellent staff. Obviously a well run business.

Very good Italian food. Freshly made and plentiful. Beware of wine prices.

Portion is really big. The main can totally be shared by two people. The "mini" dessert is like a normal size dessert to me. Very reasonably priced.

Great vibe on a late Friday night. It could be on the loud side for people who want an elegant dinner but I totally enjoyed my evening there.

They were so accommodating! We called late and they snuck us in with a great table over looking Federal Hill. The waiter was awe, the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back!!

Have had dinner here many times over the years and the food and service are hard to beat. Very friendly staff and they do not try to rush you. (except for one time that I will take as a one-off...it has not happened a second time). The food and atmosphere is great for any event you may be hosting, whether it's a dinner for 2 or party of 10. You won't be disappointed.

Nothing short of perfect! I knew I was going to like it because of the 4.6 rating, but man! it was some of the best pasta I have ever had. Definetly my new go to spot.

My first dinner at Cassarino's was an overall pleasant experience. Party of 3
arrived 30 minutes earlier than our
Friday evening 6:00 reservation. We sat at the bar and had a cocktail and wine while our table was being prepared. Bartender was friendly and attentive. She customized a drink ordered which was perfectly
executed.

We were seated at our table on the second floor near the front windows which offered a nice view of busy Federal Hill. The decor is elegant yet comfortable. The waitstaff was quick to take our order and ensured our water glass stayed full throughout
dinner. We ordered Bolognese with rigatoni, gorgonzola crusted sirloin,
and Pollo Milano. All were delicious. Dessert menu was tempting but we were too full.

Another visit was for a late lunch with
three friends on a Thursday afternoon.
We were seated right away in the main
dining area on the lower level. We started with Arancini and house garlic bread along with an Italian Margarita, glass of Chianti and an espresso martini. For lunch we ordered a sausage pizza, Italian cold cut sandwiches, side salads and truffle fries. There were no complaints other than portion sizes were ample.

Service was excellent food very good but in much bigger quantities than what most people consume for dinner hence we end up having 3 boxes to take home. We were 4 adults there for dinner and ordered three dishes from house specialities menu.
I suggest that if smaller quantities are also on menu they will be economical for customer as well as would definitely be healthier.
We loved how our server offered to make me a cappuccino when they ran out of regular cofee. That was a very well balanced cappuccino loved ❤ that 👍 .
