My son needed repairs on the air conditioning and exhaust sensors on his older (2008) truck. Doug's crew properly diagnosed the necessary repairs, provided an accurate estimate upfront & completed the work fast. They did excellent work. We would recommend them to all of our family & friends

I brought my car in for an issue with acceleration and a check engine light. They took a look at it and quoted me $1,400. I was worried because I have my wedding coming up in September but I needed my car so I went ahead and approved the repair. I went and dropped off half the money right away while I still had to it. They started working on it when they got the part on Friday and finished it same day. He called me to pick up my car and let me know that it didn't take as long as the computer said so I only owe $58. I was ecstatic because I was worried about what I would have to put to the side wedding wise to afford this. I've had plenty of bad experiences with other local owned shops trying to rip me off and it was a relief to know that I found a really honest and hard working shop. My car was shaking whenever I brake. Called and Jeremy answered and happened to have a spot open. So service was pretty fast. Brought my car in, took about 2 hrs to complete. Expense seems just right. Unfortunately that first time didn't make my brakes stop shaking so I called the next morning to have my car brought in again. Jeremy found me another open appointment. Brought it in and this time he fixed it! Jeremy is nice, he kept me in the loop, and I will definitely come back if something happens again.

In the time I've lived in Sheboygan Doug's, it has always been our go-to shop when the vehicles needed work done. Even when they were so busy, it was a couple weeks before they could help, and fast courteous service was always their standard. Honest, reliable, and helpful service. I've trusted them for years.

I took my 2005 Chrysler 300c to Ben and his team. It was in bad shape due to another shop who didn’t repair it correctly. Ben himself put the hours into my repair and made it his mission to make sure it was fixed correctly before returning it to me. In the meantime he also gave me a car to use free of charge until mine was finished. I have only had my car back for about 5 days but it has never ran better since buying it. Solid work all around. He replaced both heads, rods, almost all new suspension, injectors, plugs, replaced sunroof glass, and even fixed my door handle that was broke. When he had the engine pulled apart he saw that a few other problems such as a few sensors that were in bad shape as well as 2 grounds wires that were burnt out. He replaced these free of charge. I have used a few shops around Sheboygan and none can compare to the superior work done at van wyks and Doug’s auto. 5/5 definitely recommend. Price is cheap for the work put out at this shop.

My family and I were 4 hours from home and having car trouble, called and talked to Ben and we were able to be seen immediately upon arrival. He helped us clear the code that was causing us issues and told us exactly what was wrong so we can get home safely and get it repaired. So grateful!

We have been looking for a new mechanic that is reputable and honest. I brought in my Santa Fe for a dead alternator and needed to have it replaced. After they inspected it, they informed me that the alternator was damaged due to a leak that is a known issue with my make and model and year amd that it was ljkely I could have the repairs done at the dealer for free. They could have chosen to repair it and just charged us for it. It would be unlikely we would have ever known about the issue. Integrity and honesty is a difficult thimg to find but they are absolutely crucial in a good mechanic. A few days after this I brought in my wife's car to have brakes and a new battery installed. We will be using Dougs in the future. The only sort of negative comment I could make is kind of common sense. Because they are good, they can be busy so it may take a bit of time to get in and done. Its a small thing to deal with to be able to trust in having good quality work done honestly.

My Dad took his cars there for years and was always treated honestly and fairly, Ive taken my vehicles there too and have had the same good service. They are very straightforward and honest.

Stopped by Doug's today to just clear a check engine light and get a quick diagnostic. Ben the mechanic there was quick to help me out and was very attentive to my needs. Great guy and place. Would recommend.

Never had any issues with them in the past but I'll admit haven't been there in quite a while due to buying brand new truck that's under warranty. Definitely would recommend.

Dougs Auto is great. They take care of our fusion and our new yorker perfectly. Very skilled mechanics, very nice. They'll get you in and out as fast as they can. Great team! Highly recommend.

I went in for an ac recharge. I called a couple of places, and their price was fair. They were behind schedule because of a machine malfunctioning, but once it was the machine was hooked up, I was outta there in 20 minutes.

I went to Doug's Auto after experiencing a weird situation with another place. To make a long story short. There were parts that the previous place stated I needed and really didn't need. I want to thank Paul for taking such good care of me. I have no experience with cars and trust what someone tells me in the field they are an expert in.
