Very friendly folks here. We were out for a drive and stopped in for an ice cream cone. We got some friendly conversation and some good ice cream

Love hidden gems like this one! Food is awesome, and the literally have anything you could need without having to drive 45 minutes into town! Only two things I would say is that their restaurant menu is a little overwhelming, and they don't stay open very late.

Vallecito Lake County Market houses the restaurant "La Comida Ranchera". We came to this restaurant because we wanted to try some of the local food in Vallecito. Had an amazing meal at this greasy-spoon Diner. They had excellent selection of food, a huge menu, anything you would want to eat they've probably got it there. Really friendly staff and really friendly service, fun easy eat-in style, but you can take it to go, too. It's definitely a great place to stop by if you find yourself in the lake area.

I was recommended to check this place out because I'll be moving to the area soon and it was fantastic! Food, service, everything. Will be going back!

Wanted to stay and eat but there just wasn't room. The food smelled soo good. Restaurant, bar, general store.. it's aaa. The owner was polite, and they even had the crest pickers my wife adores and forgot at home. The blueberry and chocolate muffins were to die for.

Holy moly! Do not pass up the food in this hole-in-the-wall at Vallecito! An extensive menu will guarantee options for everyone, including gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free. If you like hot green chile, get it smothered on your burrito or chimichanga. Really, you won't be disappointed with any choice.

This place is fantastic! From the prices, the friendly employees, to the excellent quality of the meals. You can't go wrong. Try the breakfast burritos, french toast, or the tostadas. I highly recommend this place to everyone who visits.

Amazing breakfast burritos and lots of options for a small restaurant great souvenirs in the store and very friendly service. I wish I would have stopped by sooner I could have ate here every day of the trip

Nice people. The store is actually a restaurant and grocery together. Favorite hangout of locals for lunch. There is a chalkboard sign behind cashier with a list of groceries. Just ask the cashier for what you need, much is kept in the back and they will bring it to you.

Roland and crew never cease to amaze me. I have never gotten far from a few things on the menu because it all so good. Wife and I often share the combination chicken /steak fajita and it’s the best fajita anywhere with better steak than you’ll find at the best of steakhouses.

My go-to restaurant in Bayfield. Their green chili is incredible. Burns so good! Breakfast, lunch and Dinner with pages of options to pick from depending on what you're in the mood for.

Best ice cream in town, wish they carried more sizes in diapers though so we didn't have to drive all the way to bayfield or Durango.

Great food and even better people. Breakfast is always good and their dinner/lunch options are all really good as well.

OMG we loved this place. We were in the Vallecito area for a week and ate here a few times. It is a small place but a big menu and great attitude. The food was always delicious and fast. I don't know how they do it. Thank you so much.

This place is just a hole in the wall but the food is top notch , excellent both times , nice people , good service , affordable .

Variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only draw back is you need to call to ensure they're be open. Good smell selection of ice cream and other food necessities.
