Great little store! They had everything we had forgot to bring from home. Awesome customer service! We also tried to new coffee place next door. Great owners, friendly and also great customer service! The coffee is excellent!!! A must try for all coffee lovers💜

During a weeks long Christmas stay, we utilized this general store several times and it had all the necessities to keep us well stocked and prevent a 30 minute drive into Durango. There is a liquor store attached next door and provides basic to higher end spirits. Convenient and helpful staff. Elk sausage is amazing!

What a lifesaver this store is - the best brats, bacon, fresh cuts of meat, general grocery items and always service with a smile!

Very convenient liquor store to have on the north end of the lake. Prices are not outrageous for how far from town they have to deliver it. Selection is on point to appeal to most requests. The available meats in the grocery depart are awesome. The elk summer sausage is worth the stop.

This is another great place to get all the goodies for a hike or fishing trip. They've got a deli for fresh foods and a selection of other great things. Forgot your bait no need to worrie they've got some. Need a drink to help the fishing trip be more lively liquor store right inside. Good people and good quality. Also a reasonable price.

We are staying in a cabin for a week near here and forgot some essentials and this place was perfect. If there was something we needed from hot sauce, spices, toothbrushes, floss, food or drinks, we found it here. Yes! We forgot a lot. The best part of this general store is the in store meats. They are made in house and amazing! The owners are also very nice and helpful.

Modest general store with a little bit of everything. They have a deli and meat counter, too. If you are around Lake Vallecito, this is a great store!

Well stocked store, hunting and fishing supplies, camp supplies, food, candy, chips snacks, cake mixes, paper towels, toiletries, shirts, sweaters, baby supplies, etc! Super nice employees who have a smile to greet you with! Liquor store is next store and they have a great deli department with wonderful pre made sandwiches! Cold drinks and always decent parking.

I love the General Store. I live just a few minutes away and it's nice having essentials so close! The meats are also incredible! Jim does a wonderful job processing wild game. It's a family and locally run business. Ain't nothing better than that!

Purchased a rib eye steak it was by far the best I have had in a long time. Very tender just enough fat yo add flavor without being too fat. I really enjoyed my meal.

Have a great selection of groceries and general needs. Best to get some of the elk sausage and they have the best beef and elk jerky we have ever eaten. Amazing how soft great jerky can be.

The family that owns and operates the General store are simply the best.

On a daily basis they demonstrate outstanding service, unmatched quality of products, no non-sense advice regarding the area, and dedication to the community of Vallecito.

Whenever you are in Vallecito, it is a must you stop here. The jerky and sausage are made there. Unbelievably delicious, fresh and local. They also have souvenirs that say Vallecito on them. Great stuff.

Great place to visit at Vallecito Lake. Has pretty much everything you forgot at home.
