Great lunch, was greeted by Brenda herself, and her granddaughter waited on us. The chicken fried chicken was delicious, mash potatoes with gravy and spinach were equally enjoyed. Sweet was freshly brewed and the Key Lime Pie made in house was a nice finish. Definitely worth having a meal or two when in the area

Traditional diner/cafe style breakfast. I live nearby and visit Brenda’s often. Service has always been very good. Food is reliable. I’ve only ever been for breakfast but it is always good. Reasonable prices as well. I know they have dinner hours sometimes but have never been. They have pie and cake in the case but have never had any. Plenty of parking but can get busy some mornings.

Oh my goodness! Breakfast here was the best of our vacation. Bella was the quintessential home-style cafe server. We loved her. This place deserves your business. Stop by. You'll see.

Great place for breakfast
Generous portions of delicious breakfast fare. Corned Beef Hash was just right, bacon was crispy and hash browns couldn't have been better. The service was great, too. The perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. I'm already looking forward to visiting again to try other items on the menu. I'll update when we get to judge lunch there.

Brenda's was a lovely Texas-style surprise. I'm from Texas and a good chicken fried steak is very hard to find outside of the Lone Star state. Brenda's does it right! So happy to find this place. 💜

It's always nice coming here with family. I enjoyed breakfast as always it's pretty much the only thing I eat when I do come here an I normally don't eat breakfast.

This is one of our local go to places for breakfast. I have my grandson and his friends who were doing yard work for me. The portion sizes were good enough to fill two 18 year old boys. And so for that, I am grateful! Food was delicious as always. Our waitress was awesome.

One of the best places to have breakfast or lunch in the area!! The food is always great. The service is fast and polite. We have had everything from biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak and eggs, breakfast burritos, French toast and specials and it was all superb!

Heard about Brenda's and how good it was but we have never been there. Stopped in for lunch. I had the chicken-fried Chicken special with mashed potatoes and okra. Oh my oh so good my wife had chef salad with homemade ranch dressing and she loved it. We will definitely be stepping in again.

Best breakfast from Durango to Pagosa. My husband and I love coming here, we are never disappointed and it feels like a hidden gem with the hometown feel!

We found this little jewel while traveling. We had a fantastic breakfast and found the service to be friendly & quick. They had biscuits that are so fluffy and delicious they reminded me of my mom's homemade, yummy.

Do you love pie and prefer it over cake for your wedding or any event for that matter? Then this is the spot to hit up. Brenda and her baker made the most wonderful pies for our wedding. Everyone at the wedding commented on how amazing they were and the few pies that were left over, were eaten the very next day. They also went out of their way to make us a spectacular GF cherry pie and my guests were beyond thrilled to once again enjoy a delicious pie with an amazing crust. Could not be more pleased.

Chicken fried steak was hand breaded and delicious. Hash browns were crispy and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Loved this place. Good home cooked food.
