Shnayder Jewelry and Pawn Shop

I bought a vintage ring at Shnayder about six years ago and wore it day and night. It's one-of-a-kind, has two shades of gold, fits perfectly and fits my "style." I felt lucky to find it at a pawn AND jewelry store. Alex showed me many rings he had made before he brought this one out. I didn't have much time to shop around and I didn't need to shop any further when I put this one on.
I was a little hard on the ring and cracked it in a few places. I went back and he repaired and cleaned it. I didn't bother comparing prices and judging from the other reviews, it sounds like I got a good price.
The ring looks like new. I can't detect the cracks and he cleaned up all of the crevasses. It was worth what he charged. It wasn't cheap, but you have to pay for quality workmanship. Thank you Alex, twice over, for my replacement wedding ring. After 43 years of marriage, sometimes things break.

Alex was very helpful in restoring a engagement ring. We had stones that where loose on the ring and he redid the whole crown and made it 100x better. Always professional and does great work, highly recommend.

I went to Shnayder jewelers to reset a precious family heirloom gem, the process of choosing the setting, adding details and having the work complete was excellent. The most comforting thing for me was knowing that the owners of Shnayder Jewelers do the work in-house and they are the only ones who handle the gems. The options were endless and the owner took great care to be sure he understood exactly what I wanted, the prices were 1/2 of what I was quoted at the big mall shops (that do not do their own work). The environment in the shop is relaxed and quiet, allowing for better communication while designing the setting. I’m very thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Shnayder Jewelers.

I had the occasion this week to sell back some miscellaneous gold items that I had accumulated for one reason or another over many years. This was new territory for me, but based upon the Shnayder website and reviews I visited the store and had the good fortune to meet Alex, one of the owners. The whole transaction was very professional, very fair and he explained the whole process to me. I learned a lot. Please note the store carries and extensive selection of jewelry so it is definitely worth a stop!

Alex was exceptional with my mother's jewelry. He took the time to review everything and give me an honest answer and weighed it all out with me patiently waiting. The owner was nice and easy to talk to. We debated the price a little bit, but after thinking about it and explaining things. I understood where he was coming from. So i left knowing I wasn't getting ripped off. Also the place is kept very clean and organized will be back again.

I walked in thinking I wanted to sell my diamond ring. Alex gave me suggestions I’d never even thought of like taking my diamond and creating a pair of diamond studs (something I’ve always wanted).
So, basically Alex created a sweet pair of diamond studs and love them!

I had 6 watches that needed new batteries. I was greeted with friendly service. Got all 6 watches working as new in a short period of time as well as a repaired watch band. Highly recommend.

I LOVE his work! I have a new wedding ring that is absolutely gorgeous! (I lost my diamond in the other one, and he made me a better one.) This one has three beautiful diamonds. Alex is a total class act. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful when going in to pick out jewelry. I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend here. There is no better place to go for something like this than this pawn shop. Don’t go to a big retailer to buy your engagement ring. Come to Alex where he will walk you through everything. From how diamonds are made to what to look for when it comes to a quality diamond. And true quality, not the stuff they sell you at big retailers. His prices are more than fair especially for what you’re getting quality wise. And to top it all off he sized the ring for free. And this wasn’t your normal everyday sizing. He took a ring with diamonds all along the band down 2 ring sizes. He involved me with the process the whole way through and called to consult me before doing anything. Him being the expert he is I always let him do what he needed to do. And I’m beyond happy I did. The ring is beautiful and you’d never know it’s been sized. Really happy I chose to come here. Alex is very knowledgeable about diamonds and designed a beautiful platinum engagement ring with three matched diamonds. Since her fingers are very thin where the rings sits he had balls added inside so that the ring resists spinning around on her finger. It worked very well. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Was an enlightening. He is very knowledgeable about gold and jewelry and was clear about what he would buy...and what he wouldn't. He made an offer and let me choose if I was agreeable. I had a bracelet that I thought was worth more but he pointed out that with the stones out there would not be a good value as the gold weight would be low. I feel he was direct and honest.
