Big House Cafe & Catering

We made a nice 45 minute ride to try this cozy little place and we were not disappointed. To start off the coffee was fresh and strong and tasty. I ordered a dish they had a biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs, sausage (or you can get bacon) and home fries. The biscuit was flaky and flavorful and I ordered my eggs over medium and they were perfect. My wife had the cornflake crusted french toast with bacon and home fries. It comes with eggs but she doesn’t eat them. She said it was amazing and the bite I tired was really good. The staff was extremely friendly with fast attentive service. We will be coming back again, so worth the ride.

The servings are very generous! It was super busy and there was a long wait, but it was totally worth it!!

Tried this the first day we arrived in CG. Went 4 more times cuz we loved it! They are only breakfast and lunch-close at 3. Good prices. Great service! Yummy food in good sized portions. Cute decor-not overdone. They have cute patio seating also. Our favorites: loaded oatmeal and Bar-B-Cubano 😋

I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and it is truly the best chicken fried steak I've ever had!!!

Im so full I dont even know what to say. Ooof. Get the breakfast quesadilla. Mmmm so crunchy yum. Also the big zucchini fries ughhhh yum stop. James got 13 pounds of food - The Big Ugly. He fought that battle and I think they both lost. The compote in the French toast was bangin. Awesome service. Entering f ood coma. Goodbye

We were just driving through and saw this cute little spot. It was pretty busy so we ordered to go. The service was quick and she had great customer service! Hubby ordered the Country Plate. The biscuit was huge, soft, and the gravy had good flavor. He didn't care for the eggs but, he's also very particular how he wants his eggs (no picture). I ordered the Florence Omelette w/ ham and subbed the feta for Jack cheese. The veggies were fresh and the omelette was a good size. It also came with toast and potatoes. I couldn't finish it all but it still tasted good after reheating. I really loved the flavors of everything. Glad we stopped by!

Love this place. We are from out of town and every time we visit CG we eat here. The wait can be a little long but it’s worth it. This visit we tried lunch & breakfast. The gravy was yummy! Everything was cooked perfectly

We waited about 20 Minutes oh a Saturday morning so that was awesome. Expected to wait longer.

Service was great and they had our food to the table in less than 20 minutes. Arrived at noon and we’re done by 1 pm included our initial wait at first.

I highly recommend this place! Love the food.

Quaint outta the way place with great attentive service and really good food! Because this place is not on florence blvd i didnt know it was here. Been looking for places besides ihop and dennys and im glad we found this place! Really tasty breakfast and the sausage gravy is bomb! Bacon cooked perfect (not too rubbery or crispy) we showed up right as the breakfast crowd was getting busy and were in and out in 40 mins (no wait for a table) plus they have a covered patio that had plenty of space.. check this place out, you wont regret it! Next couple visits didn't change. Still great service and food! The breakfast burrito is huge! The breakfast cassadilla was greasy but delicious and too hot to touch.. the chilis rellanos is good too!

The Big House is a wonderful place to eat. The food and staff is great not to mention a clean comfortable place to eat. Just like a Moms and Pops old school joint. I love it I'm always recommending the Big House I'm always taking a family member when they Visit. Love the Food my favorite is Breakfast Biscuits and gravy.🥰🥰👏🏾

Amazing place. Very quaint, it’s a small atmosphere with about 10 tables. We had to wait to be seated, maybe 20 minutes. Well worth the wait! Nobody left hungry nor did anyone leave disappointed. The staff were all lovely! Only downside, they need booze! Margaritas, bloody Mary’s and mimosas please!

First time visit and what a great find. A short wait, but it’s purely because of the popularity and great food and staff! Jessica helped walk me thru the favorites on the menu and my coffee cup stayed filled. I opted for the Flapjack- which was original and crisp off the griddle and as big as your head!!! The main dish I had were 2 eggs on 2 cheese enchiladas with incredible red and green sauces. Plus beans and potatoes. Yummy for sure. Hope to return a few times during the winter season.

This place is a hidden gem. We came in town to get a windshield fixed, so we decided to walk to this wonderful restaurant. At first, we didn't see it but kept walking down 4th Street. His plate was the bomb. Obviously, see Pic below
Salad was bomb, although it seemed more like club salad instead of Cesar salad. The chicken was seasoned well. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.

First time here and they had amazing food and amazing customer service. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table but well worth the wait. Will definitely be back!

I had the spicy chicken salad and my husband had the fat and juicy burger. Both were delicious and we had so much food that we could have shared one dish.

This was a phenomenal breakfast. Really good flavors and huge portions. Even the iced coffee was delicious. Our service was good too. I would definitely come back here next time I'm passing through Casa Grande.

Best burgers around! This place has been around for about 15 years. The place is small but the burgers are huge! Everything is well seasoned and tastes.... not great but AMAZING! I would come back every day if I could. I got the big house burger, very very good

I love this place and wish I lived closer! Very charming little diner located downtown, with great food and friendly staff. I had a very reasonably priced breakfast plate featuring a biscuit with sausage gravy and the way the gravy was seasoned was about as perfect as it gets - deeply flavorful but not spicy! Highly recommend this spot, and will be sure to update my review whenever I'm able to eat here again!

We are on vacation in Tucson and met home town friends who winter in Mesa. It was 1/2 way for both groups.
Your waitstaff was very understanding, letting us catch up before taking our orders.
The food was plentiful and scrumptious.
