Get the burger. You won’t regret. Superior burger, so so good. Hiked the Apache Tear Mine trail, this was a great place to eat afterward. Brought the kids during the day. Such a great find! We’ll be back!

Update Apr 19 2024. Another good lunch experience. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. Having grown up in suburban Philly I can say that Porter’s version is pretty darn good. Needs a tweak, though. It’s served with provolone cheese - lots of it. Too much in fact. Makes the Sammy heavy and overpowers the beef. I probably could have asked for a substitute had I known. If it were up to me I’d serve it with plain old American cheese, and not too much of it. Friendly staff, as always. Cold cold draft beer. My wife had the taco salad with ground beef. Huge portion. She loved it. Still 5 stars. New pics attached.

Update Jan 27 2024. Live music, Saturday, lunch time - and the place is packed. Plenty of outdoor seating on two levels even though there were no inside tables available. Our party of four had wings, beef nachos and I had a turkey Sammy with Swiss on rye, side of fries. Ice cold draft beers. Excellent service, as always. Pics attached.

Updated Nov 8 2023. We’re back in AZ for the season. Had lunch today at Porter’s. Are you kidding me? My Club Sammy could feed four! HUGE. The deli meats were nicely chilled and the bacon crisp and tasty. I had mine on sourdough bread. The fries are simply great. My wife had ground chicken cheese nachos. Also a huge portion. Our beers were ICE cold. Fast friendly service. Good prices. Good value. Pics attached.

Stopped in for lunch on the way back to San Tan Valley from Globe. Have never been to Porter's but we decided that today was the day. Crazy busy at noon on a Wednesday. No problem finding a table. Initial service was fast but food delivery after we ordered was slow - somewhere between 20-30 minutes. That's ok. We enjoyed having time to chat and the atmosphere. Portions are HUGE. Our burgers were no less than 1/2 pound of beef. Mine had a wonderful smoky taste. I ordered the Superior Burger which was topped with very fresh onion, lettuce & tomato; cheese; just the right touch of mayo; giant green chilis and thick slab bacon. Excellent burger bun. The side of fries that was included was also large. Great prices considering the quality and portion size. Good selection of draft beers. All-in-all a very nice experience.

Such an amazing building and location. Tucked into the city, but just off of the 60. Drinks are on the weaker side, but still good value. Typical bar food, but when you combine the atmosphere with the amazing views, it’s a no brainer to stop in and have a cocktail on the outdoor patio. The Service was amazing!!!! We were worried when entering the building and the sign read that due to Covid, service may be slower that usual, so we were prepared. However, to our surprise, our food came out extremely fast. If your reading this review, then take the next step and give them a try!

Update: a year latter and its even better than before!!!!! Could not have been more happy!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Stopped for an early dinner after visiting the nearby Arboretum. I got a burger, gladly modified to my request. Wife got a BLT and side salad. The food was very good with large sandwiches. Good selection of beers. Staff was friendly and professional. We sat on comfy stools at the bar. Will definitely stop here when over this way again!

I just want to take the time and thank the staff as well as costumers who rushed to my aid as I fainted in the restaurant yesterday and called the paramedics. I already really enjoyed this place prior and just yesterday it made me realize that they are also filled with amazing individuals. So for that I am really thankful and apologize for any disturbance it might of caused to any of the costumers or staff. I am okay by the way and just have to watch my health from now on. Food, drinks, and atmosphere were GREAT AS ALWAYS! THANK YOU ❤

We enjoyed our meal at this Bar and Grill set in historic district of superior. Beautiful views. Nice staff.. the owners are nice. Dog friendly. Will definitely return!

Went on a destination ride on our motorcycles today. So glad we decided to head to Superior. Enjoyed the afternoon at Porter's. A band was playing. Nice mix of Mexicans and rock classics. Great entertainment. They were busy with a full house, so our food took a bit to arrive; but well worth it. Waitress kept up informed of our order, which was nice. Our group had the turkey club, the jalapeno burger and the Superior burger. All amazing. The views from the balcony were great.

Lunch on the patio out back was served quickly by a friendly & helpful waitress. His superior burger with fries, & my chicken walnut salad were tasty & fresh. My margarita was perfect.

Great decor in this small town saloon. Both outdoor and indoor seating. We had burgers, which were huge and delicious! Friendly staff. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the scenery and had a great meal.

We just had a beer but the Saloon is amazing!!! The outside patio is really nice. Did I mention it is creekside and 2 story!! The inside is very nice too.

First visit here and I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of it. Stopped for lunch with a friend, service was perfect, food was great and atmosphere was exciting. From the moment we parked our bikes in front to the seating inside, I was impressed with the modern decor, including the unique restroom barn doors! The frosted main entrance glass doors are eye catching along with same glass barn doors to the restrooms. Clean, black fixtures confirm cleanliness and triggered a thought: “Yes, dare to be different!”….Saw the walkway bridge in back of outside patio and my buddy and I both concluded that we’d definitely come back to experience more from this exciting place!

This place is a legit spot and it is in the middle of nowhere so if you're nearby you have to swing by. Bring the dogs and the kids cuz they got a great patio with some live music on the weekends and then a brunch that is pretty darn good. Definitely check out the patio and walk through the inside it's really an eclectic joint and if you got a bike bring it with as there are plenty out front.

Highly recommend the tamales on the brunch menu! Moist, plenty of meat! I had my eggs on the side. My friend had taco salad and would have preferred less chips and more greens. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor patio.

Had the breakfast burrito con chorizo. I can honestly say this was the best tasting and well filled burrito I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend this burrito for your next breakfast adventure.🦜

Nice selection on menu. Arrived around 10:30 and by 11 the place was packed. Understaffed. Server was polite. Very comfortable surroundings. Be sure and visit when the downstairs in open. Patio over looks beautiful scenery.

Getting off the river this has become our favorite place to stop for a good big meal. Consistently good food, nice atmosphere, friendly service

Great place! The food was very good and reasonably priced, and service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and my mixed drink was perfect even though it was her first time making it and she had tp google it :) We ate on the back patio (dogs welcome) and were lucky enough to see the sunset turn the mountains a gorgeous vibrant pick. Overall had an awesome experience and highly recommend.
