It was great. We learned a lot. The staff were able to answer our questions about certain things on display.. The staff was just amazing. In fact my husband was using his wallet to prop up the phone to take a picture of us and somehow forgot it on the table.. Thankfully someone was honest enough to turn it over to the staff..The staff went above and beyond to locate us.. They did some research on Facebook and located his picture and using Instant Messager they lett him know about his wallet. So he drove back to pick it up ..Had they not taken the time to find him it would've been awful.. Especially considering we're on vacation in a different state ..

Small museum of local heritage from early 20th century before the Great Depression. I love the “look back” in the past, so we can appreciate how far we have come.

There were several interactive exhibits. Our 9 year old granddaughter enjoyed them, especially the one where she got to dig for artifacts and fossils. The docent was very knowledgeable and engaging. (There was no admission charge for children,)

We loved this museum! What an exceptional job to those who have created it and keep it going. Such a gem for a small community to have! As members of the historical society and volunteers at our small town museum we give it a definite 5 stars!

Pleasantly surprised. Wish we'd had 2 hours to take in all the exhibits, which were very nicely done. We had just over an hour, and rushed through. Highly recommend.

Beautiful old stone building that became the museum in 1964. The hours of operation Sept thru April are 12 noon to 4pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Summer hours are limited to only the first Friday's of June, July, and August. I hadn't checked the times and missed it being opened. I'm a photographer though so was thrilled with the outside and spent time taking photos, and looking up history of the building. Just fabulous! Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children are free.

Best "Small Town" history museum I've ever experienced.. an abundance of artifacts that tell the story of this town from its original Native American influence through the impact of the railroad's arrival and the arrival of organized agriculture.

Many rooms recreate various periods of history of the area including a merchandise store, a kitchen and a parlor from the 30's or 40's and many more interesting and informational items that paint the picture of the town all in a site easily walked in less that an hour. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful with any question.

Really like this museum. My wife liked the medical section and I liked the old school. Lots of reading in museum. Old tractors were also neat to see. My favorite was the big old wood bar!!! I will go back again.
