I have driven for Allen Distribution for about 4 years now and have enjoyed the time and experienced a very professional environment. Their equipment is very well maintained and almost all of the equipment is late model tractors and trailers that are nicely equipped. The dispatch team is reasonable and make every effort to accommodate your schedule especially if you give them notice in advance. Most of their freight is no touch and they have great relationships with their customers and from my experiences they are well respected which translates to the drivers being handled fairly at pick up and delivery stops. If you are willing to give them a fair days work and are looking for a career this is definitely a good choice. They have delivered on any bonuses promised and find opportunities through out the year to remind us we are appreciated for our hard work and dedication. We are given boot allowances, safety jackets, uniforms with winter coats and many other perks that one would appreciate. A great company overall !

Strictly by appointment!!! I got played by a broker, told fcfs 7am-3pm, checked in 7 sharp and forgotten till appt time, meanwhile trucks that arrived later got unloaded and released. Five hours down the drain.

Drivers, if there is a different run that you can take that is from somewhere else, take it. I have been here for 9 hours, and my load is not done. This completely ruined my plans for my run tomorrow, and this company does not care. They get to go home tonight. Not me.

Make you wait until appointment and they say they can force you to wait until 2 hours after your appointment free of charge and they will milk you to the last second won’t be coming back
