Animal Health and Rehab Center (Dr Marta)

Lovely staff and a great vet. So patient and very knowledgeable and informative. Was very conscientious of my budget. They were fantastic with my fur baby and I highly recommend them.

I could not recommend Animal Health and Rehab Center more. After a serious injury, and to battle arthritis, our 13-year old dog Willie has been diligently attending hydrotherapy for the last four months. The compassion this team shows him is outstanding, from Dr. Marta to her vet techs and front desk staff, and we are so thrilled at his improvement and increased quality of life. Willie loves coming here!

Dr. Sanchez extended our oldest husky’s life by 3 years with conservative laser therapy. We got to enjoy him a while longer thanks to her and her staff. She also diagnosed our middle husky with diabetes and is currently his PCP. They also treat our youngest’ allergies and tummy issues. My husband and I cannot be thankful enough for the care, attention, and professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Sanchez, Dr. Cerda, and the staff at Animal Health and Rehab. We would not take our dogs anywhere else.

I don’t have enough words of praise! I have taken my Yorkie for rehab after knee surgery, and the quality of care and investment in the furry clients’ well-being determined me to take both my Bichon-poodle and my Yorkie for regular care to dr Sanchez. In the 13 years of my Bichon-poodle’s life, our first visit has been by far the most thorough examination she has ever received. Also, dr Cerda was great when my Yorkie had several days of vomiting.

Animal Health & Rehab Center is the best when it comes to caring for your beloved pets. When in the care of Dr Sanchez and her staff your pet will be in the best of hands. They will be treated with care and compassion. Dr Sanchez is very thorough in examining your pet and will never recommend anything that is not needed. She explains all treatment plans clearly and patiently. She is very willing to discuss any questions you may have. Among the illnesses I have dealt with with my pets are IVDD and Cancer. Facing those serious illnesses with a beloved pet is scary and stressful but all that was made easier by knowing Dr Sanchez was a the frontline of my dog's treatment plan. Even when she referred me to specialists, I knew my beloved pet was receiving the best of care because it was a Dr that Dr Sanchez trusted with the care of her patient. I just adopted a new dog and one of the first things I did was make sure she had a wellness check up with Dr Sanchez.

Great small clinic where everyone knows your name. I rehabbed my std schnauzer’s torn ccl there and he’s 100%. Dr Sanchez and Dr Cerda and the techs are all very good, very thorough, and I feeling secure in knowing my dog is in good hands.

Dr. Sanchez and staff have been very patient with my corgi who recently went through a IVDD at southeast neurology after a sudden loss of movement in the hind legs. They are honest in their findings and are always providing me with home exercises that I can do with Maya to help her recovery if any. I want to thank all the kind staff that continue to support us emotionally through this difficult time, even though Maya is very vocal about her care when we visit the center.

If you love your pet, this is the place for you. Dr. Sánchez has a overall knowledge in her field which makes her an amazing vet. Not only is she an amazing vet she actually cares about them. This place is not your typical emergency or vet office that they are in it for the money. Dr. Sánchez loves her job and loves her pets. If I can give them 10 stars I will. She has helped my Gigi with her arthritis and hip dysplasia. She has recommended what is necessary and has not charged crazy expensive prices. She along with her staff are amazing. This is the place to take your fur ball if you truly love them. 😍😍😍😍

Amazing physical therapy for your senior dog!... (Update)... We've been coming for years and they're still amazing. What a loving staff.

I love this practice. Dr. Sanchez and her technicians and staff are just great...welcoming and caring. After receiving a diagnosis of arthritis on my boxer who was beginning to go lame and witnessing a progression of symptoms I changed clinics at the advice of a friend and Dr. Sanchez recognized it as degenerative myelopathy which a test confirmed. With prescribed PT my dog was able to negotiate this incurable disease in the best possible way. Dr. Sanchez is extremely knowledgeable ...a great vet. My dogs and cats are in great hands in this clinic.

Once again, Dr. Sanchez proved herself to be a remarkable and dedicated practitioner.
She is warm and gentle. And truly, my pets sense this.
She has cared for my dogs and cats for many years.
If I were able to have her care for me, I would.
I highly recommend her and her facility.

Dr Sanchez is so nice and professional. She took the time to explain everything to me about my dogs torn ACL and the options available. She even sat on the floor with my dog and waited for him to feel comfortable with his surroundings before examining him. That kind of care and compassion is priceless and hard to find. Couldn't be more pleased. All the girls in the office were very nice and helpful.

Dr. Sanchez is the best! She does holistc modalities as well as rehab and traditional medicine. The staff is great, followup is great, and it is quality compassionate care. One of my cats died many years ago, and I took her there, thinking she might be saved, but it was too late. I was given all the time I needed to weep and mourn until I finally got the worst of it out before leaving. Dr. Sanchez cut a lock of her beautiful fur and I still have it. That is something I never would have thought to do. If you want the best care for your animals, go there. You will be very happy.

I trust Dr. Sanchez, her advice and her care for my dogs. I would never go elsewhere. She is kind and gentle with my dogs and she truly cares for animals. She is also sensitive to any concerns the owners may have. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Sanchez and her fellow medical staff, as well as all other staff members, are consistently knowledgeable and trustworthy. They are part of our family and go beyond their required work for our precious pets and lucky human owners.

Great front desk service and the doctors and assistants are always kind, patient and very knowledgeable.

I have recently taken my 10 year old cocker spaniel to Dr. Sanchez for a inoperable neck injury. I had been dealing with this severely painful injury for over a month by the time I brought my dog to Animal Health and Rehab center and it’s safe to say I was starting to feel hopeless. From the moment Dr. Sanchez interacted with my dog and myself I knew I was in great hands. Due to COVID I’m unable to go in with him which made me extremely nervous but I was on FaceTime during the entire visit. Dr. Sanchez is extremely knowledgeable in her field of expertise and overall a trustworthy person. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and never once made me feel rushed. She takes her time and is thorough with her observations. Aside from his neck issue, she even diagnosed him a ear infection! Her staff is professional and overall amazing. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Sanchez and her team enough. They are truly assets to the veterinarian world.

Dr Sanchez-Emden is really involved and clearly cares about her patients. She is conservative in treatment and gives the chance to the pets to heal. She is really sweet with the pets and tries to make them confortable and is understanding of their distress. The whole staff is incredibly helpful and responsive. They all get back to you, take questions and give answers, make sure you and your pet are comfortable. I couldn't recommend them all more.

I'm very impressed by Dr Sanchez. We went to her with a pet that we knew was not acting normally. After trying to convince our regular vet there was something wrong besides the itching (We could see she was not moving as well and seemed to be losing her vision) we decided to give another vet a try. Some research revealed a good rating for her practice. We were impressed. She listens, she takes the time to observe carefully, and she seems more up on the science. She helped us understand what may have been hapening, and strongly advised us to see a veterinary neurologist. Her office staff also seems well organized and friendly.
