Hacienda Mexico

Wow! This is such a treasure in downtown Bartow. We were downtown for SyFy festival and ate lunch here. One of the best, most authentic Mexican in the area. All of the food was superb and the service was fantastic. They were very busy but still super friendly. You could tell their employees were happy and glad to work there. I was concerned when the quesadilla came out as my daughter is picky but she loved it. Well worth a stop!

Visited here recently. Big menu to choose from. Tried a few dishes. Had Stuffed Jalapenos, Carna Asada Steak Dinner, and Fajita Salad Dinner. Each was delicious. Steak was tender, not tough. Obviously did not eat all at the time, but had plenty to take home. Good size portions.

This was my first time eating here and despite being busy we received fast and efficient service, our waitress checked on us and didn’t rush us she was also helpful with explaining the menu. The decor was really colorful and fun and the patio is a nice area to sit while you eat & relax :) the agua fresca de tamarindo was my favorite thing and the corn tortillas were hot & homemade! This place has good food & a welcoming atmosphere 10/10

Very nice atmosphere, very clean, clean bathrooms. They sanitize everything even the menu. The food was very delicious and flavorful. Home style cooking at its finest. The staff are very nice and always ask if you need anything. I recommend enjoying dinner there. Ill definitely go back and try something different.

I had the quesadilla hacienda (beef). Husband had beef burrito. Plenty of seating. We were outside. Fast friendly service. Very tasty, not overly spicy.

Great Food. Authentic Mexican food at that. It's locally owned & operated, so no commercialized setting. Not only does this place have great tasting authentic Mexican food, the atmosphere is very cozy & welcoming. Also the prices are very reasonable. I love eating here more than Abualos & Chevy's in Orlando. The restaurant is clean & service from employees & owner are excellent. I hope the restaurant flourishes & prospers. There's no other place like this fabulous little quaint business in the area.

Very great setting; bathrooms are spotless. Everything, even the menu, is sanitized. The dish was incredibly savory and wonderful. Best in class comfort food. The staff is incredibly friendly and always inquires about your needs. I suggest having dinner there. Without a doubt, I'll return and try something new.

Hacienda México is a cute, family-run restaurant in Bartow. The decor was authentic Mexican as was the food. The service was excellent and it was packed at lunch time (which is always what I look for). I had enchiladas verdes which were excellent.

The food here is amazing. Although the chips and salsa are excellent as well, save room for the main course becuase they serve healthy portions! Highly recommended 👍🏼

Very nice Mexican restaurant in the historic district in Bartow. A ton of menu items to choose from. Choose from traditional dishes to more standard options. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Great service and food. Maria was our waitress and she was so helpful in explaining the menu items to us. We had the dinner duo and tried the burritos, tacos, and enchiladas. Everything was amazing including the rice, beans, and green salsa. We will definitely be coming back.

This is my family's favorite place to eat. The service is fantastic, the food cannot be beat, and the atmosphere is nothing less than authentic. Perfect Mexican food. Perfect service.

Love this place! The skinny margarita is fresh and tasty and the Hacienda shrimp platter is the best in town!! Maria and the entire staff make you feel like family!!

There is a lot of street parking and the dining room is a reasonable size. They even offer festive outside seating. So, give them a try if you're in Bartow and want delicious, healthy food that won't break the wallet!

I’m not sure why a person would go out of their way to one star a small mom and pop business. That seems mean. Every time I’ve been here, the food was good! Always told to find a seat and they served us right away. Big servings. I’ve always really enjoyed eating here. Nice staff.

It was a surprise lunch for us , but I'm so glad you stopped here. The service was great, and the food was delicious. I told my wife we will be coming here more often

This is our go to for Mexican in Bartow. The service is great and the food is like visiting Grandma's house (at least my Grandma 😄). I always try something different so I can find my favorite/s. The dining room is a good size and there is plentiful parking on the street. They even have outdoor seating that is festive. So, if you're in Bartow and want good wholesome cuisine without breaking the bank, give them a try!!!

I always have a great time with great food every time I come here.
