Great law firm, attentive to your needs and concerns, highly recommend them for your legal needs.

It was one of the worst attorney's offices. I highly recommend you do not use them, as you will be sorely disappointed. He claims he will do and get you what you want but he has no clout with the courts. Told me it was because he was not part of the club! (Attorney/Judge social club) He is not liked or looked upon flavory in the courts. The offices does not give clear directions to what is happening, what is needed or how long it will take. says he will get you a court order, you pay him and you receive nothing for $3000.00. He will put you off telling you oh we'll just take care of it when we go to court several months later and by then it is to late to get your things.

On Thursday, February 6th, 2020 my 81 year old mother retained Mr. Peter Abesada in the hopes of obtaining legal guardianship of my sister that had been Baker Acted for attempted suicide for the 3rd time. My sister suffers from bipolar disorder, depression and schizophrenia.
Mr. Peter Abesada's professional fees to obtain the legal guardianship were $3500.00 and were paid in full. ( It was understood that court fees would be additional)
Monday, February 10th, 2020 his office incorrectly emailed the application for appointment of guardianship for Broward County. We reside in Miami-Dade County. As life would have it the following day February 11th, 2020 my mother was hospitalized for the first of many times. I was in communication with Mr. Abesada and his office, my mother would fill out the correct application as soon as she was physically able. The end result of my poor 81 year old mother was 3 strokes. The applications were never filled out , there was never a court date. We were never able to move forward with the application for guardianship.
Clearly due to health issues she can no longer be a legal guardian to my sister. I have contacted him about refunding the difference between services rendered and the $3500.00 retainer. He proceeded to justify keeping the full retainer. One consultation and an email containing a generic court application was all he accomplished. Furthermore, I was informed there are additional moneys due.
Since my last contact with Mr. Abesada my mother has been hospitalized 2 more times. Its not only a lack of ethics that drives me to write this negative review, its his lack of compassion and moral compass.
