First Watch

Being from TX, we were very excited to find First Watch in Destin Beach! They were quite busy. We had a 30 minute (?) wait, but didn't mind as we knew the tastes that awaited us. The staff was attentive and full of smiles! No complaints about the Million Dollar bacon! And the Holey Donuts with the fruit sauce dip oh my my, but calories don't count when on vacation!

Started off with a morning meditation and had a carrot cake, pancake, with cinnamon gingerbread doughnuts!!! Warm, and freshly made brought out to the table with hot coffee!! Everyone should try their million dollar bacon!!! with a hint of syrup you’ll love it! Everything is freshly made, and delicious.. I usually have a rustica frittata, which is amazing with fresh veggies! I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of their dishes…

We were in Florida (from the Texas Hill Country) on vacation and we always look for somewhere we’ve never been. The food was excellent. I love the farm to table approach. Lots of unique menu items and I absolutely loved the Community Table. Great idea especially because people hardly speak to each other anymore. Most have their heads buried in a phone. The environment was upbeat and very inviting. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and I had the seasonal fruit bowl. Both were fantastic. I gave 4 stars for service only because the wait person was just not very personable. She did her job just fine but just very quietly and that’s ok for most I’m sure. I just like outgoing people. Personal preference. We will return. Great job First Watch.

We had an amazing Breakfast here on our last full day in Destin! Our waitress was really great and the food was perfect! I’ve visited quite a few First Watch locations and this one was the best so far. I have attached some pics of our food. 😋😋😋😋😋

Everything was delicious like usual. The only thing that I didn't like was that the grits texture, it was hard. It seems to me like it was overcooked by microwave heat. It was as hard as a muffin. The traditional breakfast and home fries were great. Avocado toast is my favorite in combination with blackberry ice tea.

This was my 3rd time within 2 years eating @ First Watch. The quality of food, specifically for breakfast is truly exceptional. Yes, we waited for about 30 minutes, but it was worth it. The restaurant was clean and well managed and my breakfast Tacos 🌮 hit the spot.

Great chickichanga! Fresh and hot. Coffee is the best there. Only thing I’d like better is regular fresh half and half or cream instead of International Delights packs. Our Server was Ashley and one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time.

We loved everything! The service was fast & very friendly. Our food came out so good, we didn't have any leftovers. Hot, fresh, delicious. Can't wait to go back.

The food was great the staff was accommodating. The place is also a nice looking restaurant and everything is clean from the floor to the tables to the bathroom. They were very crowded but the staff was still attentive

Breakfast was great! Our water was so nice and accommodating! I had two kids with me and one in a stroller and they made sure we were comfortable. The food was very good and they had lots of healthy options!

Awesome brunch experience, again! We love this chain, and this location lives up to the flavor. The pitcher of sangria is perfect for two! Tet the samdwoches, they are a perfect starter to an active day, as they are perfectly sized servings for a brunch. We love it here.

Been here alot. Foods always good and wait staff is very nice. Go when it's not busy or you will have to wait for awhile, it's a popular place to eat around midday.

Let me start by saying I’ve eaten a lot of breakfasts so I consider myself a bit of an expert. I’ve been to First Watch before but not this location, and I can tell you it’s worth a stop for breakfast or lunch. They offer all of the standard breakfast options plus a host of unique dishes sure to please everyone in your party. This visit we had chocolate chip pancakes, waffles, chicken and veggie omelettes and bacon and loved them all. Service was great too and the coffee is pretty solid for a chain. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I went for brunch while shopping in Destin. My server was Sean who was excellent. My avocado omelet was fantastic. I am gluten intolerant so Sean made sure I got gluten free toast with my meal. I will definitely go back there again.

First class breakfast experience. Emphasis on highly quality and healthy food. It's also reflected in relatively higher prices but reasonable for the quality.

The food was excellent, the restaurant was very clean & the service great thanks to Shirley Alvear. She is always very friendly & makes a point to go out of her way to make sure we have an enjoyable dining experience. You are lucky to have her! We will definitely be back!

Has both regular and iced coffee to offer with flavored cream. Ordered million dollar bacon which was good but a bit chewy. Floridan pancakes were good as was the chimichanga. The works omelet was alright. Overall great experience and a place to grab breakfast while in Destin.

First time trying this chain. The one in New Tampa always has 30 min wait or more so never get to try it. I got the omellette. Nice presentation, food is good, quick service and server is nice. I have to work on remembering name of server sorry. Hope management will see who served me so she gets the recognition. Usually, the restroom is my gauge of a restaurant's cleanliness but too distracted this time so I'll use the smell that welcomes you as soon as you open that door. It smells clean and good food. Highly recommend.

First Watch is always amazing! I ordered the Morning Meditation and The Works omelette. My husband had the Purple Haze and a skillet hash (not pictured).

The food is always delicious, no matter which First Watch location I go to. The staff always does an amazing job when we do come and eat breakfast here. 😁

Amazing breakfast. The eggs were fried perfectly and seasoned beautifully. The potatoes were so delicious; not to crispy, not too soggy. My friend got a breakfast sandwich that was so bountiful in ingredients that he couldn’t finish the entire thing. One of my girl friends got the avocado toast that was very generous with the avocado. Would recommend this restaurant to Jesus Christ himself. The service was excellent as well; which is such a wonderful thing to wake up to.
