Harry T's Lighthouse

During my visit, majority of the boardwalk was closed due to it being off season. I was happy to see that Harry T’s was open.
We tried the gumbo, cream of crab, shrimp n’ grits, and the seafood platter. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the gumbo but everything else was really good! I’d definitely come back for the cream of grab and shrimp grits.

We stayed in Panama City Beach and drove to Destin for the day. Stopped by Harry T's on a whim. I'm so glad we did. Our server Mason was awesome! Even gave us tips on what local beaches to check out. The food was great. The best meal and service we've had on this trip. I got fried shrimp, grits, and a side of collards. Hubs got grouper fingers basket with grits. The best grits I've ever had. Peach sangria was delicious. Highly recommend, go to Harry T's and ask for Mason!

Ordered the cream of crab and the grouper fish tacos (fried). The cream of crab was one of the best I’ve ever had. Extremely flavorful and creamy with red onions and celery. Add some lime to it and you are in for a treat. The chips and salsa were ok. The salsa does have a kick to it. The tacos were good. You have to add lemon for acidity. Wish the sauce was more flavorful and had some heat! The atmosphere was incredible and staff were friendly.

This year’s standout restaurant was definitely Harry T’s. We dined on their second floor, open air balcony and even got to see an air show! They have your typical seafood entrées as well as some unique dishes we didn’t see at any other restaurant! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Harry T's never disappoints. They have lunch specials and bottomless champagne until 2pm. Today I had the Monte Cristo....it was delicious! It came with house chips. Also, while waiting on your food, grab the booklet on the table and read about Harry T. Very interesting life. Enjoy.

Anyone that gives this place a bad review, is either extremely hard to please or there was some shear chance they went when they were having a very rare off day! Food was amazing. Service was top notch and the atmosphere and cleanliness were on point...

I'm a visitor from the Midwest and have come to Harry T's every time I've visited Destin.

Not one bad thing could be said about this place.

Took my daughter and her best friend here in late August 2023 while we were in town celebrating their 18th birthdays. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale casual. We ate outside on the veranda overlooking the harbor. The weather was very humid, however there are multiple fans mounted throughout the area that kept a pleasant breeze going, which made it quite comfortable. The food was excellent! We had the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, the seafood platter, as well as boiled and stuffed shrimp. Would highly recommend any of these dishes. As for the service, we couldn’t have asked for better. Our server, Grant, totally made our night! Thanks for a great experience!

The best restaurant of our panhandle trip! All of the food was fantastic and the drinks were delicious. My only complaint would be that our server didn’t ask which size drinks we wanted when there were two options, so I ended up with a much larger and more expensive drink than I really needed. But definitely fantastic. I can highly HIGHLY recommend the seafood salad roll!!!

Loved being able to sit and watch the boats on the water. I got the grouper marsala and individually everything was good but together wasnt a favorite combination. The nachos are huge and my mom loved the crab hollandaise.

Tenderloin benedict was fabulous, it paired very nicely with the Gouda grits. Stuffed shrimp were delicious as well! Rochelle did a wonderful job taking care of us and kept our bottomless mamosas coming. Ambiance was lovely, spectacular views!

Took a walk on the boardwalk today on the Harbor. This place has a great scenery and the menu and food looked amazing even though I didn’t get to try anything. Service from Brandon at the bar was awesome and he helped me pick my drink “Island Time.” I will be back to again to try the ribeye!

Food, beverages, accommodations, atmosphere, Katie, Katie, oh yeah, and KATIE!!! Everyone under promised and over delivered for my best friends wedding reception. But Katie made it her personal mission to make sure everything was perfect beyond belief

Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Had a table upstairs by window. Got to see boats coming & going, the baseball game on one of the many tv s, & the fireworks show. The steak & the seafood platter were very good. The marinated crab claws were so addictive that we had to order more. Couldn't leave any of that garlicky butter sauce! And the key lime cheesecake was a real treat! A slice so big & tall that it has to be shared. So delicious! Ouf server was excellent - one of the best. We definitely plan on going back.

Harry T's Lighthouse is unpretentious. It's a great place to step away from tourist life for a great lunch, brunch or dinner. We shared the grilled seafood platter and it was more than enough for lunch for two. Sky took great care of us.

Great experience all around! We came in October and sat outside so the weather was perfect, the food was great and the service was amazing! Grant was our server and was wonderful… knowledgeable, honest, welcoming, etc. We’ll definitely be back next trip!

I had the Snapper Pontchartrain which was supremely tasty and had bacon braised collard greens with a sweet-tasting tempura broccoli. The snapper had jumbo shrimp and etouffee with pralines. The blackened snapper was very moist and held a lot of flavor. A must try at the Lighthouse.

I enjoyed this restaurant a great deal!! The weather was nice so we sat outside it was breezy so the waitress turned on the outdoor heater for us. The mimosas kept flowing and were delicious. The food was great i had the oysters Rockefeller it was so good i only had 2 pieces and was satisfied. The shrimp and grits was a hit! The omelette was a nice size but i didn’t care too much for the ham. Everyone at my table bragged on the portion size which was a concern because the prices are a bit steep but for the quality and the nice portions it was worth it. Our server could have been more attentive but when we asked for anything she did accommodate. I would go back here in a flash.

Food was really good. The view of the water was a nice touch. Ceasar Salad was yummy. The bacon was amazing. It tasted like it was made in a smokehouse. The burger was thick and tender. Excellent flavor to it. Crispy fries. French toast was good and soft. Soft biscuits with homemade Raspberry jam.

4th of July evening. Packed house. The owner (I'm told he's owned it 50 years!! Hats off to him and his family) meets us at the host station. Tells us there's an hour and a half wait because of the fireworks.
We watch the fireworks and returned. He had us seated in minutes... the seafood nachos were great, but the fried shrimp was beyond delicious. Unbelievably wonderful with a full house!!!
My son had the shrimp Mac and Cheese... he's a Mac and Cheese fan and loved every bite.
I'm sorry to say this was our first time eating at Harry T's, but it certainly won't be our last.... don't miss this is your travels

We had a late lunch at Harry's. Not too crowded so we were able to sit in the patio. Food and service were good.

Blackened red fish w risotto and local Destin IPA was great. My wife had fish tacos and liked them. Kids cheeseburgers were average according to my daughter's. Would recommend.
