A good quiet place to stop for reading. 2 hours free parking.

Free (2) hour parking if you ask for a parking pass at the front desk. Pass must be returned at the end of the day. I bring my kids here afterschool, they oftentimes enjoy the afternoon activities in the children's room such as the Furry Tales story times and DIY craft programs! The Children's librarian, Jennifer is friendly and has excellent recommendations for reluctant readers. They also have a wonderful collection of graphic novels and videogames! Overall, the facility is clean and nice place to hang out with the family.

I went because it was on my way and I needed to work about an hour on my computer.

Is not as modern as other libraries but it has everything you need like Internet, all the same library system or you order books online or you can just sit there and read your book.

They also have the computer station where you can work on their computer and even print. You can print up to 25 pages per day for free if you need to print more you just pay extra.

I have been coming to S Miami library for years. All of the staff are knowledgeable and always proactive w assistance. Very comfortable, neat and clean.

Easy access, good selection of books (it is a smaller facility). Excellent staff. Ample parking.

Not being a fan of large crowds or large libraries South Miami is my go to branch. It’s a great place to study. Staff is efficient and courteous. Also, it’s one of the few branches I’ve seen with a separate foreign film collection. This is an extra special treat for film buffs :)

In early 2000, I read at different times of each Month for about 4 non-consecutive Years, an important book to me. It was an Atlas of the World book, written by DK. I had the opportunity to read a book that helped me in Geography. Now, I in a Year am going to look for part-time employment as a dog walker, and tomorrow am going to bring in my own book to the Library that I bought at a local bookstore called Dogs for Dummies, by Eve Adamson. And read about a chapter or section a day during the week.

Very quite, has a parking lot (not free). Restroom, water, vending machine. I've never seen it crowded.
