Very easy to refill basic household goods--pantry items like Himalayan salt and whole peppercorns, to laundry detergent and shampoos. Some things end up costing more than the big box retailers, but that makes sense as they are not moving as much volume as a Target or Walmart. I always feel guilty throwing out plastic waste (let's be real, most plastic does not get recycled in this country) and this helps a little bit!

Verde is leading by example and is being the change we need in our world. The refill stations, kombucha on tap, dried fruits and superfoods are awesome. The store & decor is very informative and educational. Promoting a waste free lifestyle, reuse-refill-repair-recycle! I hope to see verde expand and open many stores as it is truly refreshing to see a store where sustainability is a priority. Thank you Verde for creating this much needed concept for consumers.

Refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle! Went for the first time today and I met super friendly Pamela. I brought in my own bottle for conditioner and purchased some shampoo as well. It was 36 for two 16 oz bottles but there is a discount if you pay with cash. A little expensive but worth the investment for quality ingredients. The only thing I didn’t like was weighing the products with the lid. Great products and customer service.

My absolute favorite. They're commitment to transparency between producer and consumer is admirable and should be an example to follow for every business.

Their bulk system is the best I've seen, and it is something I have been looking for, for a very long time. They're commitment to the environment is honest and strong, and as a person who loves the environment it feels very right to shop from here.

I would love to have a Verde Market anywhere I move. I love to see them creating competition to traditional markets and big supermarkets everywhere!

Love Verde Market! 10/10

I love this place! I go once a week to pick up my eggs because I love that their supplier is a local farm in Homestead and that farm hires folks from the Wow center Miami. So it’s a local small business alliance that I feel great about supporting. I also purchase my compost bags here which are great quality and drop my compost off weekly as well. I have refilled hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, ginger, cinnamon, maple syrup, facial oil, sunscreen, olive oil, etc. and I feel great about all of the trash I have kept out landfills all while supporting a local small business.

I’ve been refilling in Verde Market for a few years now, and I can’t love it more! So much variety of products to refill that I would love to have more of these places available for our community! You just have to bring your own container and that’s it! But they offer containers as well in case you need it.
And the best of all, the owners, Martha and Pam are most of the time taking care of their clients with an incredible attitude! Awesome place!!

LOVE THIS STORE! Just bring any type of container to refill! They have everything you need to responsibly refill your bathroom, laundry room and kitchen cabinets including spices and herbs, beans, pastas, protein powders, nuts, all of the soaps you can imagine! Bathroom products like tooth pastes and hygiene products. You can even refill your hand sanitizer bottle😊. Fresh eggs are available (usually on the weekends I think) and different local chocolates and other goodies. Reusable cutlery and bags/containers, and the list goes on. This place is amazing and so glad they have another location open in South Miami now as well. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, so grateful to have found them.

An amazing market to buy wholesome bulk foods, dog treats, bulk household cleaning supplies made from safe ingredients, beauty care products, and tools for reducing waste! The owner and staff are very kind and helpful. The shop is nicely organized and stocked with many delicious items to sample or test. I hope more locals come and learn how to reduce their negative impacts on the environment, and in turn gain a better life. Super happy to see this kind of spot in my area.

The only store of this type I could find in the area, and it's really good. It stays true to it's values. The associate was great. She explained how I could bring my own container. It's even encouraged. But if it's your first time and you forget, they have some plastic and glass containers for sale too. I went for one the higher priced items, lotion, this time. I think it's worth the price, knowing that there's less plastic in a landfill or the ocean.

Go to Verde before you throw out your containers. The owner is really nice and adamant about being environmentally friendly. She also stocks a nice selection of containers for sale and has opened a new location in Kendall. She’s always adding new and vegan friendly products and recently added organic wine and beer and stocks many required items.

Miami's BEST no waste sustainable center for everything you need.

This local resourceful spot one can overlook from the outside but once you enter expect to be overwhelmed in all the best of ways with nature's finest.

Take some time to explore this place.
Expect to leave with treats and a wealth of knowledge to keep you coming back.

Every piece of plastic ever made still exists today. Shopping here brings me so much peace knowing that I’m taking some steps to reduce my own waste. The quality of the products is excellent and they’re always adding new things to their shelves. I love it here!

Verde Market is a hidden gem in Miami! I love how eco friendly while still being affordable all their products are. You can go in there and ask questions about how it all works, composting or anything about zero waste without fear of judgement. Shopping at Verde Market feels like becoming part of a community, a community of people trying to make a difference in the world.

If you care about making a difference in doing your part to minimize your carbon footprint, then this should MOST DEFINITELY be at the top of your list on where to shop. Nearly everything in the store is in bulk containers. You choose how little or how much you want. Its generally BYOB, however, if you forget, they have glass containers of varying sizes for purchase. It was a short visit, because I had to meet a friend nearby, however, I can't wait to visit again and buy more items. Hoping this business decides to open another location up North in Broward County. This place is AWESOME, and even though the 50+min drive was worth it, I hope the owners decide to open another Verde Market in Ft. Lauderdale.

P.S. I couldn't believe how much dishwashing liquid I got in a fairly large glass mason jar. Thought I would pay $15 for my fill up....instead it was JUST $8

...and they can make nearly any nutmilk in front of you, FRESH! Can't wait to try that. In the meantime however, I'll have to try the Almond paste you mix with water to make a plant based Nut Mylk (milk), which you can customize to your taste/ likeness.

Overall, can't wait to come back shop and Support Small Business! (Which is an important thing whenever possible!!!👍🙌

They have so many bulk products: a soap refill station, shampoo, coffee, kombucha, zero waste kits, dog treats, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spices, and more. You can take your own jars and bags to refill.

Really nice store owner, willing to guide you and help you choose what you need. They have all sorts of soaps - castille with no palm oil! Laundry detergent, shampoo etc. Plus nuts, oils, spices and other household items to help you go zero waste.

The owner is amazing she will guide you and make sure you get what you are looking for. This a great place for people going zero waste or looking to reduce their footprint on the planet, great vegan items too and bulk bins, a lot of items are pretty cheap.
