Jackson County Roads & Bridges

People are always coming down our road dumping trash, tires, couches, mattresses, trash bags, etc etc. For the longest time my neighbours and I were just doing what we could to keep the road clean. But on things like tire and mattress dumping we have to pay out of pocket to dispose of them. So I've started calling the county about the issue. Thus far every time I have called in they have sent some guys out that day to get the mess up. I can speak for all of my neighbours when I say we appreciate what the county does to help us keep the road clean.

I’ve asked several times about repairs in our subdivision as well as surrounding area. Each time my request was addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Thanks to the Jackson County road team for doing an excellent job.

It took them over a week to get a road up to code per GDOT and national safty guidelines. Serious injury or death could have occurred. Let's see how long it takes you to fix that sinkhole.

New Kings Bridge Road has been closed for a month to bury a pipe across the road. I would not be complaining except that I live near the closure and out of the month that it’s been closed only 2 days worth of work has been done! Step it up please!

liberty church road they did a extremely bad job heavy traveled road they did a lot of patch work ruff job un even roads zero stripping last week numerous times other cars went into my lane i had to go off the road they would of hit me head on please stripe it yellow ASAP and finish the right plus they never cleaned the gravel up either this does not look good for the county at all

Horrible staff. Unprofessional, and liars. I have never seen a public utility staff this bad.
