We have been taking all our pets to Dr Shannon for years. Lets start with the picturesque setting, a log cabin, nesstled in amoung farms. Next, Dr Shannon herself, my Mother proclaims "they broke the mold when they made Martha Shannon". I concur. She has deveolped a one of a kind animal health care practice with a heart for our animals. I will say,they like any business that grows the way this practice has, they have lost a little of the homey customer service they started with but hey, take good care of my babies at a reasonable price and I am more than satisfied

Dr. Shannon and her staff are always friendly, caring and knowledgable. I have been going to her for 10 years Recently, I had to take my boxer in for arthritis issues. Dr. Shannon was so loving and gentle. She truly loves what she does and I trust she has the best interest of my fur babies and will give them quality care when I bring them. Her staff is always friendly and helpful too.

My dog was not an existing patient of theirs but they had the biggest hearts and let me bring him there after an accident that required an emergency visit. They were all so kind and had the best attitudes! So glad my pup was taken such good care of here!

We love Dr. Shannon and all of the people who work at Shannon Veterinary Services! I've taken our German Shepard mix, Stella, to her since she was 3 weeks old (she's 2 years old now) and they have taken the absolute best care of her. Our pup was a rescue and had worms and a few issues, but Dr. Shannon treated her until all the worms were gone and then she was a very happy & healthy pup. I've always called the office or the emergency line when needed and all my questions have been answered immediately. A few months ago when we got back from a trip out of town, our pup had some very bad stomach issues and was constantly vomiting and had diarrhea. Stella started getting very weak, so I went ahead and called the emergency line because it was around 10pm and the office was closed. Dr. Shannon called me back immediately and was willing to meet me at 10pm just to give my pup fluids, which to me says a lot about her and the business. I ended up just taking Stella the next day, but the fact that she was willing to go meet me at the office to give my pup fluids at 10 at night warmed my heart. Dr. Shannon & her staff genuinely care about the well being of animals and will go out of the way to make sure they are healthy and happy. I recommend Dr. Shannon and her staff to everyone!! I fully trust them with my fur baby!! We LOVE SVS!

Dr. Shannon and the staff are the absolute best!!! I have been taking my chihuahuas there for the past 15 years. They have seen them through puppy stage, breeding and now the end. I would gladly drive 8 hours anytime to take my babies to the best vet ever!!! No one even comes close to this practice.

Dr. Shannon is wonderful. She took time to explain everything in layman's terms so I could understand what my pup's needs would be after surgery. She has a truly remarkable love for animals and it shows. With Dr. Shannon it's all about your pets comfort 'safety and health. I have found my forever vet. Buster loves her too.

I’ve been going to Dr Shannon for over 20 years. This is the best place around! Very focused on our animals. Super blessed having them!! I drive from another county because they are worth it! Amazing vet!

My dog was having problems with delivering her puppies I was quoted 4k+ at braselton emergency vet and came here without appt and it was only 822$ total for everything. They did a great job and saved my dog and her puppies. Highly recommend!

We sadly had to say goodbye to one of our dogs in 2019 (she was 17 years old, and I had her since I was 7), and it was one of the most painful moments, but Shannon's made everything so professional, and made us as comfortable as we could be during such a difficult time. Since that day, I knew this was going to *MY* vet for my pups. (: I won't be going anywhere different. There have been SO many vets that I've gone to over the years that only seem to care about the dollar sign, and/or treat you and your pet like a number. After a while of not-so-great experiences, we genuinely felt like there weren't any good vet offices around. However, Shannon's is different. (: Every time I visit (whether for an annual check-up, surgery, vaccination, etc) they have always been exceedingly thoughtful, professional, and knowledgable, and the staff/vets will always go the extra mile to make sure your sweet pets are taken care of. They have INCREDIBLE customer service (they always check in with your pet, always remind you of your appointment, are completely transparent about pricing before any procedure, etc), and know exactly what you need before you even ask. (: Also, they have the most beautiful place/property, and the cutest farm animals walking around--it's so peaceful to be there! Basically, all I'm trying to say is: they are so amazing, and if I could give them more than 5 stars for this google review, I would! If you need a vet, this is your sign to go to Shannon's! <3

Dr. Shannon's clinic is comfortably nestled in a beautiful country setting, not far from Hwy129 in Jefferson, Ga. Her staff are the most charming, welcoming, helpful people I've ever met anywhere. That, within itself, is a much needed, quick relief for the pet owners at times. As you begin to equate yourself to your surroundings, you see that the place is as charming as well. A new waiting area has the rustic country barn feel, fitting right along with a grazing field of goats and their kids playing and kicking up. Now, the bestest part...the vets. Patient, caring, angels, mother's to all animals, let's see, did I say patient and caring? Dr. Shannon, my sweet dear doctor for those we love, you may have to add on some more! XOXOXO

Very polite staff, was my first time using their facility. Pup got a round of shots and check up. I will be taking my other pets there. Will update after they take on my Tasmanian devil (chihuahua).

Dr Shannon and all her staff are the best. We have used them for about16 years and wouldn’t use anyone else.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Dr. Cooper sees all five of my dogs and she's incredible! So much compassion and care for the animals. She's always willing to spend as much time as needed answering all my questions in great detail. Couldn't ask for a better veterinarian!!
