My daughter’s birthday cakes were delicious! Only 3 pieces were left and some took some to go! We were able to get a custom smash cake for our 1 year old and she absolutely loved the banana filling! The other cake was a marble 2 layer cake with whipped cream willing, it was so good! We had to email back and forth a few times to get all the details secured. Everything was done even better than expected. We were so happy with the cakes and service! Thank you to the Braintree Montilio’s team!

Best Cafe we've been to in Massachusetts. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great and the prices can't be beat. I ordered the Hashlette omelette and it was smothered in hollandaise. We absolutely loved our server. She really went the extra mile for everyone in the restaurant. This place is the Newcomb Cafe during the day then changes to Montilio's pizza in the evening. Glad we stopped. Great coffee too. Thank you!

Went there to get my parents some lemon cake. They loved it. I also got a piece for me and my wife, and I must agree. I also had the breakfast pizza, which was really good. It was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for, so a nice little treat now and then.

Incredibly delicious cakes,pies and pastries. They have the best pizza around as well. If you grew up in Dorchester and still compare pizza to HiFi, which was the best pizza around back then, then you will love Montilios pizza. The breakfast sandwiches are massive and delicious. Montilios has been my favorite place for a good 25 years now. I order from them regularly, and i had them do my wedding cake years ago. I wouldnt recommend any other bakery.

I have been purchasing goodies from this bakery since 1968.
Even though its 2024 I still get the good stuff.
Things changed and locations are different but when I visit New England I search and seek a location of this fine bakery.

We made a 45-minute drive specifically for their cakes and it was worth it. While priced higher, the quality and taste of the cakes are fantastic. Their other sweets are also quite good, making the trip satisfying for any dessert enthusiast

We got our annual Yuke Log from Montilio's this evening and it was sure to not disappoint. The frosting in the interior was light and fluffy. The cake was moist and the outside was reminiscent of a winter log. As you can see from the photo I've posted, you won't be disappointed if you go to Montilio's and get this delicious treat as part of your Christmas celebration!

Absolutely amazing! Met with a few bakeries for my wedding cake and the moment we walked in for our tasting I knew I would be using them. Their customer service was great and they were so patient with us while narrowing down our favorites. On our wedding day we got so many compliments on how great our cake tasted. I wanted simple design and it truly came out beautiful. Our top layer was Italian Olive oil and it was to die for! We will be ordering from them for all our future needs. Thank you Montillios!!

From ordering my wedding cake to getting the cake for my sister's wedding and baby showers, we have never been disappointed! Cakes have always been light and fluffy and their buttercream is always delicious!

Montillio’s gave us the perfect cake for our wedding! We went into their Braintree shop to do our cake tasting, and while there were a ton of delicious options, we decided on two different flavors (the bottom and top tier were the same, with a different flavor for the second tier): a champagne white cake with a white chocolate mousse filling with fresh strawberries, and an olive oil cake. We loved them both so much, we couldn’t pick just one! We opted for a simple flat spatula design for the white buttercream frosting on the outside and no cake topper or any other kinds of flourish (our florist added a few white roses and greenery to their tiers instead). It was simple, elegant, and absolutely perfect for our big day. The quality is amazing, and we left our wedding with the top of our cake meticulously packaged in a Montillio’s-branded box to bring home and enjoy. Our plan is to come back next year for our 1 year anniversary to order a small cake in the same flavor as our topper to celebrate the occasion. Thank you, Montillio’s!

We used Montilio's for our wedding cake. From the cake tasting to the delivery of our cake, everything was perfect! The staff are great and they make beautiful cakes. Ours was simple, but stunning. Not to mention incredibly delicious!

We picked out our wedding cake here and it is amazing! The staff was so helpful in creating and designing our wedding cake. We got the presidential white cake with espresso drizzle and a chocolate chip cannoli filling. It’s our favorite and we got so many compliments from our guests! We cannot wait to dig into our cake top on our one year anniversary!

Montilio's did an amazing job designing our wedding cake! I had a vague idea of how I wanted it to look, based on a few photos I gave them, and I'm so happy with how it came out! Their cakes taste delicious too; I highly recommend them overall!

We were excited to learn that Montilio's was the cake vendor used by our wedding venue. We were already big fans and customers of Montilio's. We had three different flavors in our wedding cake tiers: Chocolate Tuxedo, Marble with chocolate buttercream and chocolate truffles, and Lemon cake with fresh blueberries and buttercream. All three were so good, and we received a few comments about how good the Lemon blueberry was. It's been almost a year, and I'm still thinking about the cake(s). We're going to have to cycle through ordering our flavors for our anniversaries!
