Tidewater Grille

Was having a rough day and needed a bit of a change of scenery for the afternoon/evening. Drove from South Jersey to Maryland. Pulled over on the side of the road, looked up restaurants nearby, and Tidewater immediately peaked my interest.

When I arrived I was not disappointed. Beautiful location right on the water. Was greeted and seated without any wait. And for fellow introverts like myself, my brief interactions with the waitress and waitstaff were great. Not a knock to them at all, they were extremely pleasant. Very attentive to anything I needed, just didn’t show up to my table every 5 seconds, which can sometimes be overwhelming.

NOW…on to the reason I will most definitely be back….THE FOOD!

Started with fried calamari and a winter mule to drink, both were perfect. Ordered blackened salmon with a Caesar salad for my main meal. Once again, the food was mouthwatering. I almost never order salmon out or eat it at all in general, but it had a nice smoky flavor and almost melted in my mouth.

Can’t wait until my next trip back, they have Trivia night Wednesdays and really interested in checking out the live music on Friday & Saturday nights.

Give them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Seafood was a little more salty than I’m used to, but besides that I wish I had another mouth on the side of my neck to help me gobble it up!! Very delicious! Great and enjoyable drinks 🍹 🍸too - very nicely balanced. I loved the ambiance and the view, and the location. Parking was easy too which made it a front to back great experience, and the service (Aka Cristal) was excellent!

Great find from a business trip to Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The restaurant provides waterfront views from a sundeck sitting perfect on a rainy day. Friendly service in spite of lunch crowd. Food was excellent.

This place was great! I had the cream of crab soup and crab dip with pretzel for my apps. Entree was the seafood platter with twice-baked potato and rice. It was all delicious. I even had a good view of the Susquehanna River and the railroad bridge. Shout out to my waitress Tracy, you rock!

My family had a great time. Our service was very quick, especially since it was a Saturday evening and we were seated oitside. It was a little pricey, but that's to be expected since its a dockside restaurant in Havre de Grace (beautiful view). All of our food was very good. We got the Pasta Primavera, Haddock Sandwich, Buffalo Shrimp Salad, Chesapeake Burger, Twice Baked Potato, Cream of Crab Soup, Calamari and Fries. The Twice Baked Potato and Haddock Sandwich were especially good. I would love to come back to this restaurant when I'm back in the area.

Great location for a relaxing dinner with guests outside at the top of the bay, on the water. They text you when your table is ready. Our waitress was super attentive and the food was really good, especially the Maryland Crab Soup. Unfortunately not a lot of vegetarian options outside of Brussels sprouts, token pasta, and salad. Seated our large party of ten outside in less than 15min. Great outside space after a busy day for kids to play and adults to unwind and relax. Ample parking.

I got a single crab cake ( no bun lettuce tomato and tartar on side ) and market price was $23. Even though I thought it was pricy for a crab cake no sides it really was very delicious. The cream of crab soup tasted very good and the Brussels with balsamic were amazing.

Great Waterfront place!! Went here yesterday and had one of the best hottest meals I've had at a restaurant in a long time. So kudos to the chef also the bartender was awesome!! Keep it up guys 👏🏼 thought I took a before picture the picture here is about 30 seconds into my meal 😋

Great waterfront experience arrive early for seats outside. My server Savannah was awesome friendly and welcoming. Food was very high quality and selection. Fried brussel sprouts were great. Scallops were a nice size. Thanks for a good time this was my one day out this year. Savannah is awesome give her a raise! 😀

Visited for Sunday breakfast. The service was fast, the food delicious, really enjoyed our cocktails, and that view 😍. A great spot to take out of town guests on the weekend

This was a great restaurant to find along my walk. The food is about excellent, I liked everything I tried except the fries. The prices are fair for the location. The staff are friendly. The location is amazing sitting right along the water and just below a main street.

Me and my best friend ate at tidewater today and the tacos were amazing!! No complaints and service was fast and friendly. Had the pleasure of being served by a young girl named grace and she was so sweet!! Definitely recommend!!

Food and atmosphere excellent. Best salmon I've ever had while overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River and abundant wildlife.

The Views were great, the drinks on point, the food portions were perfect and the service was Awesome! I got the Swordfish and my wife got the seafood linguine. The prices were very Reasonable too. Would definitely come back!!!

A hidden gem nestled in downtown Harve De Grace. Tidewater Grille made for an amazing dinner for me and my family. The staff treated you like family. The seafood platter was amazing and for the price I was full (and I'm a foodie LOL). The crab dip was a lot better than other restaurants I've eaten at and my son said the chicken was a 9 out of 10 and he takes judging food seriously. We went at night so we couldn't see the water, but with glass windows everywhere there's not a seat where you couldn't see the water. Thank you for a such a wonderful experience. We will come back so we can see the water next time!

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here. The view is incredible and the food even better. The entire staff was welcoming and hospitable, from the host, bartender and our waitress. She helped us choose and we were thankful for the delicious recommendations. The cream of crab is really a must have. I ordered the blackened salmon pesto and shared the seafood mac!!! Both hands down absolutely amazing.

Enjoyed a evening meal with my wife which coincidentally occurred on the Super Blue Moon. I had Flounder with stuffed crab. My wife had Shrimp and Scallops along with cream of crab soup. Delicious meal and nice location along the waterfront. Annie was our server and did a splendid job!

This is my 2nd time here and Tidewater Grille never disappoints !!! Waited 10 minutes for a seat by the water and the service & food was spectacular I had Salmon Florentine Grilled with sautéed creamy veggies and rice pilaf also had Bacon jammed scallops with crab cake & seasoned mashed potatoes I would give 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the food, waiter Brandon & the energy surrounding the water !!!!!!

We stopped at this restaurant on our way home to Philly, because it such great reviews. The food was so delicious! We ate everything! The appetizers were great as well as the entrees! Also our server Derrick was the best! Amazing radiant personality he paid attention to detail and assisted us promptly. He was super helpful! Overall amazing experience!

EVERYONE here was really pleasant.
Within our 5 day stay , we ended up going here 4 times.
The hostesses, bartenders, waitresses and waiter’s were all very friendly and attentive.
The food was great…maybe too large of portions, but how can you complain about that !
It’s safe (for two woman alone). Comfortable. Relaxing.
