Joseph's Department Store

Great hometown store of old. The toy section is great, filled with STEM and brainy games, not just the run of the mill Walmart and Target selections. Don't go for a "latest hit" toy. Not for me, but if you need Levi's they have the biggest selection going. Haven't done much clothes shopping here, but the quality looks good. Great example of what support local provides.

Josephs is a one stop shop that carries gifts for everyone in one convenient location. They have an amazing selection of items and are also very supportive of their local community.

I was so impressed with the diversity of items offered. There were several ideas for stocking stuffers and lovely and original pieces of clothing for everyone. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love shopping at Joseph's.

Friendly staff saved our skin when my girlfriend forgot to pack her dress for a wedding we were attending in town.

They immediately started scouring the store for appropriate dresses once she explained the situation. We quickly found something that was nice, affordable, and fit well. They saved our skin with style and grace.

It is mid-November and we took a chance on finding shorts for my husband for a cruise that we are taking. The gentleman working the store was so nice that he pulled out a box of shorts that had been packed up for season. He didn't have to do that but he did it gladly. Small town shopping at it's best! Thank you for your exemplary service.

We visited Havre de Grace for vacation, and had an incredible experience at Joseph's. Personal and helpful service, a surprising variety of clothing options, and great toys! We were very happy with the prices and service.

To top it all off, they offered to ship our purchases home for us for free, and did so quickly. Excellent service, and it made me miss small-town department stores in this age of big-box anonymity.

I was very impressed at the improvements to the women's department. I had not been in in a very long time but I will be going back for clothes this fall. I bought a lot of nice outfits for an upcoming trip and the customer service was excellent. I love shopping local!

Joseph’s will take you back in time. Well stocked with clothes, toys, decorating items and lots of interesting goodies.

I go here several times a year to browse the sales racks. Although much of the inventory is really out of my price range, I enjoy the quality I can get if I'm patient, and the staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. Even if I don't buy anything, they are always gracious and chat with me. And they don't mind if I take my coffee in!

Great service and great selection of quality clothing, it is like stepping back in time when shopping was more personal and friendly, went for jeans and found several different brands not just one, they have Levi's,Wrangler's,Lee and Carhart in a great selection of sizes, if they don't have it they will get it for you, give them a try!
