Jonathan Bowling

This art was amazing.

This was definitely the coolest thing we found in Greenville and one of the most unique things I've seen in North Carolina.

This unmarked park was filled with statues created with old metal parts.

Inside the park you can see dragons, cows, camels, centaurs, nights and numerous other figures.

A little research determined that these works of art were created by sculpture Jonathan Bowling.

Statues like these are not just at this park, but are, as you can see at near by buildings as well.

I will say however that the City of Greenville is definitely doing itself a disservice by not having some type of sign to represent this park.

This could be a great draw to the city but without any type of signage there's no way to identify what it is and therefore no way to really find it if you didn't know he was already there.

We stumbled on it completely by accident.

We own 3 of Jonathan's sculptures that really enhance our landscape! His talent is evident and I'm sure that we will add another piece or two before we are finished. He is an asset to Greenville in every way.
