Western Cherokee Nation

This is a small but free Native American museum with so much to see!! Merle gave my son and I some time to just look around and then he patiently answered all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable about the artifacts in there and where they came from. This museum also gives tours to school children.

Great museum! My daughter and I enjoyed the tour 😊 The owner was so nice and a very good tour guide! Very interesting artifacts. A museum definitely worth visiting! Entrance is free. They will also hold a PowWow on Sept 24th 2022 from 9am to 5pm !

Haven't been to that part, I only went to deliver a UPS package.

Awesome place! Really enjoyed looking at everything and talking with the owners! Very nice people! Some amazing artifacts they have. We are going back soon to take our kids

I'm not native American, my wife is and from a different tribe. This was a first time Pow-Wow as I understand it. So they are off to a start. I wish them all good luck.

We really enjoyed our visit. The owners have put a lot into the place and are a wealth of information. Visiting with them was very interesting as were many of their pieces on display. Their presentation held the attention of numerous kids from quite young to high school.

You wouldn't expect a DVD rental place to have a native American museum in the back. They have an awesome canoe and it's run with donations.

I loved everything about the place so many things to see and some things I will purchase
next month. Thank you for taking time for explaining things to me
