St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church

It is clear that EVERYONE is welcome! So blessed that I found this place to call home. Father Dean is such a joy and The congregation is very active and its fellowship. So much to offer with something everyone!

We attend St. Joan of Arc when we visit our daughter in Asheville, most recently in late November. It is a welcoming congregation with an articulate priest. His sermon was meaningful to me. The landscape view through the large windows behind the alter was inspirational.

We have visited the Asheville area for many years and this is our favorite church for Sunday mass. It has a diverse population (age, ethnicity, etc ) and a congregation that partipates in the celebration. The homilies have been helpful and the music uplifting.

Nice Church with a nice view of the surrounding area. And they had a greeter when we came in that recognized we were visitors and really greeted us very nicely. And the priest was there too and he greeted us. And it just so happened that the priest was originally from the state that we live in. It was just a nice comfortable Church. And it seemed like the service was well-attended.

I went as an out of town visitor last summer. The ushers were very helpful and let me take photos of the alter etc to take back home with me... I look forward to going back! I have since decided to re locate to the area of Candler.

Wonderful !!! What more can I say after being away for 40 years . When I came down the hill the church took my breath away . It still reminds me of my old Church and the people are the same warm and Wonderful !
