Starlight Cafe and Farm

This is the place to go in Greenville NC for oysters and craft cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and the owner comes by to greet patrons. My husband's steak was sun par, but maybe you don't order steak in a place that specializes in seafood. Deducted 1 star for that reason.

My boyfriend and I went here for our valentine’s weekend dinner. Their food is so lovely and delicious! I got the Key West Lemonade and The Hemingway. Would definitely recommend trying them. They have a new vegetarian entree everyday and the one I got was delectable. Overall, we got elegant food, and lovely window view & awesome service! I would also suggest making a reservation.

Carpaccio is a really good starter. Flounder almondine melts in your mouth, pork chop was tender and jucey and the collards that come with it, though not like the ones my mother made, were surprisingly excellent! Chocolate cake was a great way to finish.

Starlight Cafe and Farm is a great local spot that provides a great ambience and great food. Their tapas trio is great to start and the steak is always on point. As stated the ambience is perfect for all occasions including date night or big groups. Their cocktails are delicious as well. A rotating seasonal menu that always delivers, this is a great sport for friends, families, and date nights. My family usually goes once a month!

If you’re ever in Greenville, come for the cocktails and stay for the food. Our night started off with a WOW! with our drinks. I had the drink special - a blood orange old fashioned and my hubby got the Manhattan Montenegro. Both fantastic and tasted like two.

Unfortunately we were in desperate need of comfort food so our meal selection was more limited but not at all disappointing. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and finished with the burger. The oysters were super fresh, including the spinach. If I had to be critical I would say that the spinach overwhelmed the oyster, but the flavor was still good.

The burger was lick-your-fingers delish. I have to say , the apple compote really made it. The owner described it as “upscale ketchup” and just added a certain je ne sais quoi that really put this burger over the top. Again, if I have to be critical, I would say the fries were a little limp, but it wouldn’t keep me from coming back to this little gem. A farm to table restaurant that actually owns their own farm? Definitely worth the try. Thanks to our waitress Sophie who guided us along our comfort food experience.

Jana was a wonderful waitress. She allowed us to split meals, attentive and original Halloween costume; "kiss the cook". The burger I had was generous in portion, cooked to request. The salads were flavorful. The atmosphere was comfortable. Worth my money and multiple visits. Also, loved the frites. I forgot to ask if they make Belgian mayo for.the frites.

Consistently good. This is the go-to restaurant in the downtown and Greenville’s best overall. Farm-to-table with a cozy atmosphere. Great for special occasions. Really, great for any night.

Another amazing evening spent at Starlight. We started our experience with almost every appetizer available. At the table we had the pork belly, tuna poke, oysters, and every cheese available. There was not a leftover bite. A variety of cocktails were thoroughly enjoyed over the course of the evening. My steak was perfection, just as they have all been over the course of many years that I have visited this establishment. All of the ingredients are fresh and there is a clear emphasis on staying local. The ambience and service is consistently impeccable even now when restaurants are coming off a LONG year and a half. Starlight is a forever favorite and I am so grateful for their contributions to our community.

Some of the best lemon pie I've ever eaten! Oysters are great, too! Would not recommend the crab bisque at all.

An amazing dining experience. It’s worth the visit just for the collard greens. Tobias is an amazing chef, and this is quite the finest of establishments.

Stopped in on a trip to Edenton; Kelly was magnificent as the server. She made excellent recommendations. Had a last minute old fashioned with tequila that was out of this world. Met an old friend and Kelly recommended the outside area. It was an awesome experience! Too bad I live in Alabama; would like to try more of the seasonal cocktails and some of the other food!

Probably my favorite restaurant in town. The food, drinks, and staff are always excellent!

Starlight has become a weekly go to for me since moving to Greenville, you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Food is always spectacular and the customer service is even better. Last night Nina was our server and she was WONDERFUL, despite having a severe food allergy she made me feel at ease and was very knowledgeable on how to handle the situation. 10/10!!!!
