We eat here every taco Tuesday, wonderful people run this small place come out and support them, prices are great and very fair please be generous and leave a decent tip for them because they are very friendly and service us very well! I love the tamales and the rice . They even brought me a birthday dessert! Love the tacos 🌮!!! 😍😘 EXCELENTE Y GRACIAS! See you on Tuesday with MR. Carlos ! 😉

This is my favorite place to take the kids or even have date night! After coming here once or twice the staff makes you feel like family! It's a positive atmosphere and the food comes out really quick, no waiting at all. One of our favorite restaurants!

The restaurant was very clean and the food was great. Don't be fooled by the outside of the building if you're a first time customer. The whole experience is gonna be great.

Stopped in to try the tacos. The venue was very cool. The service was great. The tacos came out very quick. The tacos were delicious. Next time I’d ask for the house salsa if they have some. Overall it was great and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

With a humble appearance on the outside, this restaurant is a not-quite-hidden gem for those going through the area (it's only about 4 minutes off I-40) and locals alike. On the inside, it has a more relaxed atmosphere compared to other Mexican-style restaurants around here, but it doesn't take away from its authenticity at all. A note: bring a big appetite. The meals here (especially during dinnertime) are generous and are likely to feed multiple people while the prices are excellent for the amount served.

I literally ordered a simple steak taco salad (no veggies) on Sunday with lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream and cheese. I called after I got home( around 8:45)due to me having to go inside to order, mind you they close at 9pm but for some reason their phone was "off the hook" when I arrived to place my order in person (around 8:10pm) I was told they didn't know their phone was off the hook😒 Needles to say, I returned today for my replacement and had to go back and forth for 15 minutes about the mixup on Sunday, once I returned today, they literally had to remake my order over 3 different times!!! I'm so angry about my food as well as the poor customer service. The girl with the red hair was very impolite and had a very nasty attitude after they messed up my food 3 different times🫤 I frequent this restaurant a lot and I always order the same thing, a simple steak taco salad with sour cream, diced tomatoes, cheese and lettuce! Once again no veggies! I will be taking the order back tomorrow as well as speaking with the manager.

The small business has the best tasting shrimp tacos I had. I rather travel to Le Pelusa to eat than eat at the local Mexican restaurants. Thank you for your great customer service and the food was amazing.

La Pelusa is one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I have ever ate at. Friendly staff, delicious food, fair prices, and just wonderful all around. It may be a small restaurant but, don’t judge a book by its cover! I usually get the Pollo a la parrilla which is simply delicious but, I have tried alot there and they never disappoint! Definitely worth the trip.

Food was excellent, we lingered and there were many tables available - once our food was gone we never saw them again. It would have been a great time to offer dessert or fill our glasses, and the food was so good I will simply do carry out next time.

The food (enchiladas,beans and rice) was delicious, with very little wait time, the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Food was amazing 🤩 I had the pollo Jalisco, delicious-- and the wait staff I found to be attentive, I will definitely be returning to try a bunch of other things I saw on the menu! Update*** sopes, my new favorite! Churros are great, love love love the fried fish tacos, bean dip is to die for. If you like it spicy ask for the spicy salsa. Omg almost forgot, love the chili Colorado!

Truly amazing Chile Verde (slow cooked pork with green sauce), and a massive portion for the price. Great red salsa, and really good salsa Verde. An outstanding find and pretty close to the highway.

I've ordered the steak tacos and super enchilada plate several times. Great food, ready fast, friendly people, I would recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food.

Went to La Pelusa for my Birthday celebration with members of my Family and it was my first visit. This restaurant is Awesome! The people running this business are very accommodating and polite! The food is SO GOOD!!
THE PRICES are very reasonable! I am definitely going back! Go see for yourself..you wont be disappointed!!🤷🏼‍♀👍😀
