Mry husband I are eating there at least three or more evenings because food is great, clean restaurant and most of all everyone is so friendly and they remember us at each visit. Being from out of town we feel like we are a part of this community and have met other patrons at the restaurant. We are so glad to have found this jewel of a restaurant.

Very good place to eat. Very nice people. Delicious chicken tenders, french fries, onion rings, hushpuppies and sweet tea. Plenty of food on the plate for the money. Great location. Stays very busy. Want to eat at the lunch buffet next time

My first time there,but I knew it had to be good due to all the cars in the parking lot. Excellent food and very personable staff. Family atmosphere sit down restaurant that was clean and the generous portions for a great price made it worth it. I fed 3 adults for less money then you spend at a fast food joint,the food was a lot better and the staff made it all worth it. Very nice folks there! I WILL be going back .

They had all my favorite today. The fried and barbecue chicken was awesome. Vegetables were delicious, and as always their service was top notch !! 👍

Went here for a meeting. All I had was coffee and that was good. Others in my party really enjoyed the food.

This is a small-town restaurant with good Southern food and hospitality. Everybody said hello when we walked in. That included the waitstaff as well as other diners.

The entire experience reminded me of my hometown. The only con is that it's too far from where I live in Virginia Beach.

Stopped here on a Tuesday night while passing thru the area. It was a nice family restaurant, nothing fancy, but exactly what I was looking for. The food was cooked to the right temperature and served pretty quick. The service was friendly and they made sure to check on me and refill my iced tea as needed. I had the flounder dinner and the flounder was lightly fried with just the right amount of breading. I wish they had offered tarter sauce, but it was fine without as it had plenty of flavor. The hush puppies were a nice addition.

The place for breakfast. Our favorite place for the best breakfast meal. I also dined here for dinner, and it was equally good. It's where the locals go to eat.

My service was excellent. I ordered the open faced roast beef with french fries with gravy. I also made a trip to the salad bar. I thought my food was very good. I was greeted as soon I came in and seated with no wait. I had the perfect portion for a perfect lunch

Fabulous mom and pop type of place. One of those the locals talk about. Very delicious breakfast the omelet was cooked perfectly and the link sausage and egg plate had very fluffy eggs.

They had awesome food, great staff and prices and they seated my men's group of 12 or so no problem

Very good breakfast. I got the Sham Slam (2 eggs, a pancake, a sausage link, 3 strips of bacon, and grits or potatoes) and it was enough to feed a small army and absolutely delicious. My wife had eggs, sausage, and a biscuit with gravy and enjoyed it.

The service is top notch with very friendly staff that kept the coffee coming and made us feel very welcome. We definitely will be coming back while we're in the area.

My dad and I stopped in for breakfast and everything was wonderful. The food was inexpensive but totally tasty. The staff was attentive, helpful and nice.

One of the very best

First time visitor. The food was excellent and very LARGE portions. Had catfish basket with a side of collard greens. My husband had a T-bone steak, which he said was good. I thought the steak was a little pricey, but the catfish basket was reasonable. The only thing I didnot like was the "flat" cornbread. Next time I will order hush puppies.
A friendly server, helpfully answered questions. Small home-style restaurant.

Everything was great here. I love the stuffing it had so much taste I went back and tried second the chicken was piled HIGHand looked so delicious next time I visit grandma again I will have to stop

This place was the highlight to our visit for a funeral in Windsor, North Carolina. All the food especial the dinner was fantastic--the fried trout to die for... the breakfast was heavenly as well. Did I mention it's an all you can eat, they also have reasonable prices take-out food if need be!
