Georgia Deans restaurant & bar

Cute little restaurant with a good menu selection at reasonable prices. Stopped in on a road trip and were very pleased with our choice. The "small" kids burger is still rather big and quite a bargain at $7 but apparently kids eat free Tuesdays which of course makes it even better lol We also had the Cajun chicken pasta which was very flavorful and creamy and the club sandwich which they add onions to and it adds a nice twist. Would definitely recommend.

A upscale experience at a reasonable price is a unique building in a small coastal area. The service was exceptional and the food was of quality ingredients. So glad to stop in and will definitely return.

If you want impeccable service and delicious food at your next catered event, contact the fine folks at Georgia Deans. Somehow, they managed to suit even the pickiest eater in our group and their food displays were beautiful as well as tasty, despite very little kitchen space.
They took care of every detail and I honestly can’t think of one way they could have improved their service.

Stopped in for lunch and couldn't have asked for a better meal. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta w/ Andouille and a Caesar Salad while my wife had the Shrimp Tacos and a house salad. Both plates arrived piping hot and were portion sizes to ensure nobody leaves hungry. My pasta had amazing flavor and is worth a drive from anywhere in Eastern North Carolina.

Service is top notch with both the lady that seated us and our waitress being super friendly and quick. We were even steered towards their scrumptious Sweet Potato Fries with house dipping sauce that is worth writing home about (or at least mentioning in a Google review).

The only downside was because the portions are so generous I was too full to try any of their deserts. I may just have to make it a point to go in and hit up the bar and order a desert.

Georgia Dean's is one of my favorite restaurants in the state now.

The food was great, it was my first time going there

I travel quite a bit, and any time I'm within 100 miles of this place, I make sure I don't miss out. With fresh food, consistently seasoned and cooked to perfection, coupled with warm down-home service with a smile, the experience at Georgia Dean's is ALWAYS top notch.

Had a wonderful first experience here for lunch. The salmon was one of the best I've ever eaten. So fresh, as was the salad with fresh berries. Their coffee and chocolate cake brownie were great, which is a plus! Will definitely be back soon.

Georgia Deans is one of a kind! They catered our wedding. The food was impeccable. Not only the food but the service was above & beyond!
We had them cater our shower, rehearsal dinner & wedding. Every time we left full, happy & grateful.
At our wedding they keep everyone’s plates full, cleared out old dishes, refilled drinks, even bustled my dress 🥰 & so much more!
Thankful is a understatement for them!

My favorite restaurant when working in the area. Good selections on menu, reasonably priced and good size portions. In fact, I would make the two hour drive on my day off for a favorite dish or specialty plate.

Great country home feeling restaurant! My BBQ wings were spot on, and the crab dip...divine! All the food that came to our table looked great! Portion sizes were large. Do NOT miss out on the cinnamon sugar donut for dessert. We hqd to take ours to go but even cold they were ah-mazing!

Found this place on our way home from hunting because our usual place was closed, and I'm glad! Such a pretty place with very friendly employees and great service. And the food was awesome, the best chicken salad I think I've ever had! My husband said his seafood was excellent as well. We will absolutely come back on our way through now!

Drove from the Outers Banks to go to the rodeo in Williamston and stopped in at Georgia Dean’s for an early dinner. Wow! Were we pleasantly surprised! Amazing, friendly, staff and clean, fresh, appealing atmosphere. We sat at the bar and Kendra was our waitress along with tending bar. She was amazing! Our dinners were exceptional; served in a timely manner, and delicious! The quantity was perfect and the price was reasonable. We have many outstanding restaurants in the Souter Banks, but I would rank Georgia Dean’s right up there with them!

What a wonderful place!!! Great food, drinks and service! That chicken salad is amazing as well as the Painkiller cocktail and the Liquid Marijuana cocktail! Our server Taylor was delightful!

We were driving from Raleigh to Elizabeth City for a weekend vacation and found this gem along the way. We were pleasantly surprised by the pricing, food, and service (shoutout to Taylor!!). The scallops were cooked perfectly and it was definitely a place we’d visit again. I wish this place was closer to where I live, it’s a must visit!

Everything about our meal was amazing. I had Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious!! Broiled seafood platter - scallops, shrimp, & flounder was great. Prices very reasonable. Chosen for Saturday night dinner. Fresh yeast rolls are to die for.

After a long drive, my wife and I checked into our hotel and Georgia Deans was their #1 restaurant recommendation. We certainly understand why. We were very pleased with the service. Marlee was exceptional and deserves a 6th star for the perfect dining experience she provided; what a gem! The food? Let me just say, don't take my word for it. Make it a point to visit Georgia Deans. I promise you, you will not regret it. Our meals were fresh and prepared perfectly, and the presentation was top tier. If we ever find our way to Williamston again, we will definitely make it a point to visit Georgia Deans.

My brother and I were in the area on a hunting trip. We drove by this place and the parking lot was full, so we figured we would give it a try. Apparently they stay so busy, you should have reservations, but the hostes got us a table in about 10 minutes anyway. Our waitress was great, and her recommendations were spot on. She knew both the previous owner's and the building's history which was impressive. Dress from the clientele was from overalls to Sunday's best. The restaurant had a 99% rating. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, salmon and bone in porkchop as the main courses, with sweet potato fries as the sides. Everything was fantastic, and I will definitely eat there again, when in the area.

Four of us like to go to Georgia Deans after a round of golf. The waitresses are particularly nice and friendly. We usually get a salad and the special which are always good.
