So to start, this review is from the Sheffield family. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would. When we started this journey we talked to Mr. Jon he was amazing and gave us all the info we needed and beyond. Even while we where paying on our retainer he still helped us with questions and helped with what he could. And I need to give a BIG shout out to Miss. Tammy B she is a god sent and listened to me with anything I needed to ask or talk about. She was on top of it all and made sure we where not stressed out and that we where taken care of! First off, let me start by saying that bankruptcy is a scary thing when you don't know a thing about it. I had considered debt consolidation but my spirit just didn't feel like it was the right decision to make. I had googled bankruptcy lawyers in my area and not too many choices popped up. The initial response I received when I inquired was super fast, I think it may have been on a Saturday. A few of my questions got answered and then I was even more stressed. I was a le to set an appointment up with Mr. Jon (I canceled twice just from not being sure I wanted to file). I eventually went ahead and completed my consolation then life kept hitting me blow for blow. Once I had made up my mind and got my paperwork in order. The staff at Gillespie and Murphy had my back at every turn. Tammy and Jennifer, if I could give them a high 5 and a hug, I would!! This experience thus far had so many cliff hangers, but I never went over the edge. Thank you!!

The initial consult was free of charge and I fully expected to be rushed out of the office after a few minutes, given my experience with another attorney. I WAS in serious financial ruin my credit is terrible so I could not refinance anything or even get a consolidation loan didn't know which way to turn. I worried constantly, it was even affecting my health. I googled several bankruptcy attorneys and spoke with a few, but Gillespie and Murphy sent me a email one day asking how I was doing and I gave them a call. It was the best phone call I believe I have ever made. They were definitely the answer to my prayers. I filed bankruptcy in June and my first payment was to be due July 1st.....already started out behind, so here I go again with the stressing and the sickness not knowing what I was going to do. I worried the mess out of Tammy Weems and Carol in that office. Tammy worked with me and the trustee, and thought I was straight ..but no not me I kept struggling I finally got it where it is being taken out of my payroll semi monthly which did not catch me up, I was still trailing worrying they were going to close my case. I called this morning and spoke with Tammy Barnett and asked if she could give me the exact situation I was in and what I needed to do, she told me to let her check on something and she would get back with me.. in just a couple of hours if that long Tammy calls me back and tells me she has got this handled and told me what the plan was and IT IS PERFECT. I sware I was in tears...happy, relieved tears..Tammy, you just don t know what you did for me. EVERYBODY in that office is awesome I know i worried the mess out of them they never got upset with me and always treated me with respect and kindness. And so far as Lindsey Parker goes....she is my Angel 😇

I contacted the Greenville office after changes in my life made it difficult to cover my bills. I selected christian lawyers to represent me because i read over what they stood for & everything i saw in the positive reviews was my experience as well. The outcome after all of the work put in by the firm was i am in the final stage of my chapter 7 filing & am getting the fresh start i needed.
