I was riding home from my brothers and was starving but didn’t want any of the traditional fast food. i passed by the barn looking restaurant and did a 360 because i saw how content/happy/hyped customers looked while walking out or getting their food, i instantly felt i needed to try it. I went through their drive thru, it took no time to get through. I ordered the Chopped bbq and pork ribs plate, my sides as fries and baked beans. Everything tasted like it came straight off the stove, fries were so fresh they lasted me my whole 30+ minute drive home. The fries were the ones you can dip in ranch or ketchup or nothing at all they’re still amazing. (very picky about my fries). baked beans were amazing and i don’t even know how to explain it but they even had the baked beans in a container which is so considerate because typically at other places i end up with baked beans everywhere.
The sauce, the BBQ, the ribs and everything else was above any other restaurant i’ve been at around this area. i typically don’t type out long positive reviews but for all that food i barely spent $10. the people taking orders and giving out food were also really kind.
the food wasn’t over taken with fat from cheap meat buys, it was nothing but quality and now everytime i’m in pembroke you know where to find me. Amazing job you guys.

Always on point, the chilli cheese fries with the sauce is the way to go... Make sure you have a fork, it's messy.🤤

The food is always delicious especially the barbecue trays...the slaw is especially tasty I always like more slaw than barbecue

We were in town for a robotics competition and heard about this place. When we arrived the drive thru was out to the road. We chose to walk up and place our order. We got the Family Meal and the service was fast and friendly. We needed cups for the gallon of sweet tea and the lady at the window went out of her way to take care of us. The chicken, BBQ and all the sides were delicious. Too bad it's not open tomorrow, but they're definitely on the list if we're back next year. Thank you.

I’m a frequent diner to Papa Bill’s so I’ve had their best and worst. Their best, is just that. The best food in Pembroke. When at their worst, it’s still better than most and only second to few. Start with a BBQ sandwich combo with a sweet tea and lemonade mix. Then come back for ribs. And finally, get some chicken.
Then repeat!

One of my all time favorites! White meat chicken sandwich for 5 $ can't beat it with a stick.

loved when it was in Lumberton..but worth the drive to Pembroke..I enjoy their BBQ sandwich and the fried chicken and rib combo..not to crazy about the potato salad ..so fries and baked beans do it for me .

Chose this place randomly on a road trip by the amazing reviews. When we pulled up we were surprised to find that it was a drive up bbq joint. Wasn’t really going to work for us since we were far from home in the car but we decided to check it out anyway since the line of cars was wrapped around the build and then some. There was a walk up counter as well. When we got there the woman asked us if we were dining in. Confused we said sure. She pointed us in the direction of a small building around the back. There we found and air conditioned place where they would take your order and serve you. Great service. Wonderful staff. AMAZING food. There was even a playground outside. My son wanted desperately to play on it, but it was late and dark. I had the quarter fried chicken with corn and potato salad. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Huge portions! Can’t wait to eat my leftovers!!!

First time ever going here but I've always heard great things and they didn't disappoint went thru the drive thru which was super fast and got bbq ribs and BBQ chicken, Cole slaw, hush puppies, and baked beans with a sweet tea all for 12.99. The chicken and ribs were so tender a d had a great BBQ sauce. Would recommend to anyone. Will advise you that you'll wanna take a nap after eating for the cherry on top 🔥🔥

Excellent Food. Always Fresh Never cold.... It Is well worth the price

It was fast and service was great. The food was delicious. I would recommend going between 5:30 thru 6:30 on Fridays if you are in a hurry. The business is usually very strong , therefore the wait time is longer.

My bbq lovin husband and I came into town for a function and we stop by for lunch. We ordered two plates. The fried chicken was delicious but the chopped meat was amazing. It was extremely flavorful and had just the right amount of spiciness. The corn on the cob was yummy, if you like it sweet. They did mess up my husbands order giving him baked beans instead of corn on the cob that he ordered. The baked beans were just alright. The potato salad was yummy and that’s coming from someone who loves good potato salad. If you are in the area you should check it out.
