There’s not enough words to express how incredible a job Mounir and his team have done for our wedding. Starting from the time we first met him through a friend, he’s arranged two separate tastings for us taking into consideration our preferences in terms of flavor, spice, and quantity. He carefully listened to our concerns and went above and beyond to eliminate them from happening on our big day.

The quality, quantity, and presentation of his food is UNMATCHED. We were blown away by how warm, juicy, and soft all the meat items were during our tastings. The best thing about it is that he schedules the tastings on days he is already catering for large events and so you get to taste exactly how the food will turnout on your event day. On both our tastings, the quality of the food stayed unchanged and he further made adjustments based on our inputs.

Each and every wedding guests I had the opportunity to attend mentioned how incredible the food was and that they would like to have his contact information for future events. We were happy to do so with all our friends and family. Nothing in my review has been sugarcoated or exaggerated, once you taste Mixed Grill Catering’s food you will know.

The mixed grill catering was excellent. The owner provided hands-on assistance to ensure everything ran smoothly and the venue was beautifully maintained. Along with being wonderful, the appetizers and refreshments were served professionally, and the fresh fruits added a lovely finishing touch. Everyone was really accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to meet our requests. So, when deciding who we wanted to cater our baby shower, it was an easy choice. The food is absolutely amazing but so is the service and whole experience working with Mounir. Mixed Grill Catering (MGC) goes above and beyond to make sure your food service is unmatched for your event. The food is delicious, exactly as requested, and amazing for the price. MGC was extremely flexible with us when we didn’t have enough time to pick up certain items as we originally planned to, so they generously took time out of their busy schedule to drop off what we needed well in advance of the event. The service is incredibly kind and generous and I plan to use them for all of my catering needs in Nashville moving forward.

I walked in for the first time and the owner asked me if I’d been here before. I told him it was my first time and he asked if he could make me something special not on the menu. He made me an omelette burger with fries and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had (and that includes dinos!) I will absolutely be making my way back to eat my way through their huge menu. Such a hidden gem! I recommend going in person if you want a near private dining experience. The staff is extremely kind!

Mixed Grill Catering catered our wedding and it was excellent! The food was delicious, everyone loved it and multiple guests said it was the **best wedding food they’d ever eaten!** Mounir and team were very friendly and easy to work with. They helped us craft a menu to fit our preferences and our guests’ dietary restrictions and they were willing to travel. The price and the quality are unbeatable. We’ll definitely use Mixed Grill for our next event.

We had the shawarma, roast chicken, beef, salad, green beans, and mixed Middle Eastern desserts including baklava, goulash, and basbousa. Plus lemonade and coffee. The team also provided the plates and silverware.

Food was really great. Prices are great for the quality that you get. It is not something you can see from main streets, but truly a great find. The menu is large and full of great options. They also have a 100% from the health dept and cater😀. Will be returning to try most everything on the extensive menu. Also friendly staff. Fountain drinks and bottled options.

Mounir and his team did an amazing job catering our special day. Food was absolutely delicious. He went above and beyond as far as helping and making sure everything is good. Definitely recommend.

I can truly say that Mixed Grill Cafe is a hidden gem. Ever since I started working on Grandview I had been intrigued by the spot, wondering what it could possibly contain.

The first time, and every time I enter, I am promptly greeted by everyone on the floor. I cannot say enough how much this impresses me. Just this simple detail alone so many places forget and it really just shows the class and attention to detail that goes into how well thought out everything is here.

The Restaurant was clean, and I mean CLEAN. Everything is tidy and neat, the tables are always immaculately organized and spotless, CLEAN.

Mounir (whom I'm assuming is the owner) greeted me kindly and I promptly ordered the most traditional thing on the menu I could find, among the more American fare. The Lamb Kabob with cucumber sauce. I was informed by Mounir that they also serve a Lamb Shank, which I'm also interested to try. The lamb was nothing short of fantastic. The seasoning was done perfectly, no gamey taste at all, and as tender as lamb can be grilled. Fantastically done. I had to go back for seconds the next day as well as to try the Stuffed Grape Leaves, which were tender and perfect.

I think this place deserves much more and I can see a bright future for this restaurant. I would like to see more traditional food on the menu and less American food, but I suppose it is called Mixed Grill for a reason.

Amazing! Great customer service and good food. We got a mix of meat, chicken, gyro, rice, salad, and a sausage egg cheese sandwich. It was all so delicious 😋 you must go here 😊

Ok. I think it was the owner running the show at lunch time. I walk in, he goes " You like beef? You like chicken ? Yes. I got something really good for you! Something special. I said okay. Hey says " it comes with fries, you want a drink?" Yes.
I sit down with my drink. Nice simple plain place. TV 📺is on some food show. Appropriate. 3 minutes here he is with the the hot food. Delicious. Like a fried meat pie/ fried sandwich peppers, cheese, beef, lots of sesame seeds. Gooey-crispy. He comes back " you like it?" Yes. I asked is it on the menu? "No. Sometimes I like to treat some customers to to what I'm eating. They have been voted Best of Nashville for Philly Cheese Steak and something else. I had a very nice experience. I hope you do too.

While filming a few days in Nashville, our production made the excellent decision to choose Mixed Grill Catering! They catered both our breakfasts and lunches. Breakfast was a wonderful variety of delicious options, something for everyone. As a vegetarian, there were many options for me that were both tasty and healthy. They were also thoughtful enough to include vegan options. Lunch was the same but they were so kind and thoughtful, they even made me my own special lunch. Our days filming are long and require a lot of energy and having good catering is so important. I would highly recommend Mixed Grill Catering - great food & service - a delight to work with!

Stopped by and got a philly cheese steak, this has to be the best one I’ve tasted in Nashville! I’m so pleased with the people, the service, the food! They are very welcoming and nice. They deserve to be downtown possibly!

The decided to make my sandwich better by adding egg mixed meats and more! It was very tasty BUT very heavy! I could only eat half the sandwich and maybe 2-3 fries, which means the meal was enough for 2!! Go try this place guys! You won’t regret it !

Alright. Sometimes. Only sometimes in work life makes you want to try different things. You give yourself the opportunity to go to a new place. All new places need friends. And there is no better advertising than that which speaks from person to person. There are places that have good food. But when the staff does not offer hospitality and humility. It only remains in the memory. It is NOT the case with this little restaurant. The staff here are always friendly. People need to try the Philly Lamb Sandwich. At least in personal opinion. We planned a public community event with Mixed Grill Cafe, and we are so thankful that we did! Not only was the staff punctual to be at the event site, they also made it so simple and smooth to order and plan for the event. They came in and independently set up with warmers, silverware and plates, and the food smelled fantastic. Definitely the highlight of our event was the food to the point that several who attended said that it was the highlight of THEIR WHOLE DAY. The food was so diverse and wonderful. The golash--an Egyptian savory pastry--was crunchy and thin on the outside and absolutely lovely on the inside. He had numerous vegetarian options as well. I have no idea how he seasons his vegetables, but they were absolutely amazing. People definitely went in for seconds.

Definitely an amazing restaurant for folks who don't know Egyptian/Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food that well. The food will be amazing and out of this world with numerous options, and the customer service will warm your heart. Unsurpassed. Definitely will be bringing them on for several events.

I had the colossal burger and it was delicious! Although sad to say my eyes were bigger then my stomach and i couldn't finish my last few bites. An awesome place I'm definitely gonna revisit the next time I'm in Nashville!
