I was always intrigued by this store but had never been inside. I went in a couple weeks ago before the parade and it just felt like I needed to be there. I picked up a few things that I have no idea what they are called but the man working patiently explained everything to me thoroughly. One thing that I MUST tell everyone about is the soap. I used it this morning in the tub (yes, I woke up and just felt like getting in the tub) and it is AMAZING! It gives the best lather and it smells wonderful. It felt great on my skin. I don't have sensitive skin but certain "regular" soaps dry my skin easily and certain store's perfume/fragrant soaps have made me itch or given me hives. This soap did none of that. It is $6 a bar but Ithink it will last a long time. It didn't just dissolve away like every other soap. I will definitely go back and purchase more and look around for other great finds!

This store is incredible. I love the crystal wall with any crystal you could imagine on it. I love how inclusive they are of all spiritual practices. The variety of locally and authentically (not appropriated) sourced products is astounding.
The staff can’t possibly be expected to know everything about all the various items offered, but they do a great job of answering the questions that they can answer and directing you to great places to find the answers if they don’t know. One thing that’s important for me when I’m shopping is to know that staff are available, but also to be left alone until I need them. Sojo staff do this well.
The prices are great. The store smells amazing, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet.
It’s a spiritual experience just to be able to walk in and browse around.

Amazing costumer service, super kid friendly. Owner is a veteran as well as super knowledgeable. Non judgmental atmosphere mixed with witchy stuff was super fun.

The energy I feel when I walk in the door is incredible! Staff is super friends and willing to answer any questions you have. I love my experience every time I go!

I visited the store during my last trip to North Carolina; the staff is wonderful. They were helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I recently made a purchase online as well since I live far from the store, and it was shipped promptly and received in great condition.

Have to update my review. I've been here 3 times; while all of my visits were good shopping experiences, the most recent one was by far the best. Courtney was the on-duty cashier last time I went in, and she excels at customer service. Very welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable of nearly every product in the store, and she offered to put me in the store's database, an option the other 2 employees who were on duty my previous visits didn't even inform me of. Also gave me a free sample of incense and box of matches with my order. Management, if you read this review, please acknowledge Courtney's dedication in some way, she is exceptional.

My experience was wonderful today! Sojourners has the only array of items for Egyptian pantheon related altars, and it’s nice to find when I’ve looked EVERYWHERE and can’t find a place that includes us! The front cashier was really nice, I didn’t get her name, but she provided extra information for me to look up to learn more! Her and the rest of the staff are always so friendly, I look forward to shopping with y’all regularly!

I love shopping here! It’s one of my favorite places to go. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I really appreciate their help when shopping. I also appreciate them following Governor Roy Cooper’s mask regulations. They’re keeping the community healthy and safe during this troubling time.

I’ve been coming here for years, and just came by a few days ago and then again today to get some items and I have never had such amazing and beautiful conversations with humans like I have here. They genuinely know their stuff and are so open and kind and love having genuine, down to earth conversations with their patrons. I can’t wait to come back again! :)

I have always had such a positive experience in this store. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well. Just this week a staff member helped me pick out some flowers to use as confetti for my graduation photos, and she was so sweet. An amazing store!

I am not from Greenville, but I am a practicing witch and I know what’s real and what’s not. The Sojourner store has some of the finest selection of herbs, talismans and statuary I have ever come across in all my years of collecting and using magical items. You can tell there is an integrity behind the items chosen as they are special and unique and stuff that you can’t just find anywhere. Also their message about love and unity with reverence to their southern ancestry is apparent and genuine. I love this store and would say that anyone would be lucky to walk into their store. Lanie helped me there and was so knowledgeable sweet and authentic with her recommendations. Five star shop! Trust me!

From the first moment I walked into the store several years ago the atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful. I have grown to love my frequent visits. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly without being overly pushy or exaggerating about the merchandise. They carry an abundant selection of stones, books, and other supplies. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Greenville area.

If you're looking for a delightful little shop with some of the sweetest employees, and that will not convince you to simply buy pricey items, but rather help you find what you are looking for, you've found the right place.

My first time in I tried to be unnoticeable, just browsing and not really interacting with the employees, and the store owner Michelle really went out her way to talk to me and make me feel welcome.

That was well over a year ago, she's not in the shop manning the register as much, which is understandable as the store owner doesn't need to do all the things, all the time! All of her employees are kind and welcoming!

Now that we've covered the excellent customer service, lets get into the stuff they sell!! They have everything that you could ever need and more! Everything that they sell is I believe sustainably sourced so that a huge plus! There is a wide variety of crystals/stones/jewelry/herbs/tea/bumper stickers/books you name it!

One more wonderful thing is that they support their local community and businesses, which is really icing on the cake because it shows their dedication to support the residents of greenville!

If all of that doesn't make you wanna go in there...two things 1)I don't know what else would make you want to go here since, in my opinion, they have the cat in bag, 10/10 on all aspects. 2) You're probably a hater and need to reassess your shopping criteria.

People complaining about being required to wear a mask are completely childish. Wearing a mask protects not only you but the vulnerable around you who are literally SERVING you. This establishment has been a safe haven for the community and I adore all the employees. It always has good products and it’s always clean. Please do not let these negative reviews whining about putting a thin piece of fabric over their faces keep you from experiencing a little gem of a store!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful, as well as willing to advise at any skill level (but also happy to let you browse in peace!) Great selection of herbs and I can almost always find what I'm looking for. Staff has also been safety-minded throughout our current public health crisis, which means i can confidently shop here and feel safe while doing so as well!

This place was amazing. Down from NJ and I needed to prepare a some herbs for a few client's that I didn't bring with me and this was the place to fit my fancy. I don't remember the young lady's name started with an L but she was absolutely wonderful she made me feel like I was home. We discuss different herbs as I'm becoming an herbalist and she challenged my knowledge. Plus the metaphysical atmosphere was just great. Truly recommend and will be returning.
